yeah, having a complete PS1 set is my main goal (and not an easy one) but i also pick up PS2 titles every now and then. funny how i got drawn to the Sony systems and not to Nintendo's or Microsoft's. i do own an xbox but no cube and i only have like 15 games for the box in my collection right now (picked up "Le Tour De France" yesterday though) :D

i got a complete Herc's Adventures a few weeks ago and have not ONE time played the game :embarrassed: - but the screen shots and reviews do really look nice. i have to take the time to play it someday.
tinsair

Yeah the screens look decent, it's a shame I only got the empty box, the guy in the store was looking for the games and couldnt find it :( .
I asked for the box he said I could have it, well I suppose that would stop anyone else from getting it now cus' I have the box, fingers crossed he might have the game when I visit again.

I was noticing that there were a decent amount of PAL PS games that are in the PS list that I do control (there are something like 5000 lines for Us/Japanese/Eurpoean). When I get it back I'll see if I can split it off for you and see what I've got in the PAL sense of things.

I never thought we would have a PAL PlayStation list as complete as this in such a small space of time, considering the amount of releases/re-releases and various part number counterparts.
Maybe we will be able to re-produce that sort of performance on the PAL PS2 rarity list :D

hey i saw a copy of Ehrgeiz in my city today, it was a german rental version though... so i wanted to look it up on ebay and see what it goes for. but somehow every copy on ebay is a rental too, so i was wondering if a "real" copy exists at all??
and btw, how rare is the game and what's it worth....
AtariBuff
06-17-2005, 12:08 PM
i have a PAL UK Ehrgeiz which is no rental version (i think the back cover is in english and french).
at first i also thought this to be a rare game but it pops up way to often on ebay and therefor is no high price item OR maybe the non-rental version is a bit rarer. we have to check this out when we do the letter "E" :D
hydr0x
06-17-2005, 12:18 PM
well, i almost expected that answer, the question is, does a GERMAN version exist that's not rental?? i couldn't find one online doing a quick check!!
AtariBuff
06-17-2005, 12:21 PM
I once saw a german copy locally but didn't pick it up because of the manual missing - I can't remember if that also was a rental copy. I will definitely give this one a further investigation but i'm pretty sure that Ehrgeiz got a proper german release.
hydr0x
06-17-2005, 12:23 PM
keep me updated if ya will, the copy was pretty scratched but 5 bucks is quite cheap i guess, is the game any good actually??
i also picked up Front Mission 3 and Vagrant Story for that price, both pretty good games, and FM3 seems to be quite uncommon....
AtariBuff
06-17-2005, 12:27 PM
you got a good deal - and fm3 IS pretty uncommon ;) - vagrant story isn't a common title either.
i never fired up my copy of Ehrgeiz but i'm sure someone can post a small resumee.

06-17-2005, 12:28 PM

Hey guys,
Have a look through of this list ( http://illusionoflife.com/Sony_Index/PS1/PAL_name.htm ). His list isn't perfect, but it lists a number of variants, and I found his US list to be 99%+ accurate.
