Collection storage always seems to come up in discussion, whether it be shelves or tupperware or whatever. I was wondering though, does anyone have any special methods of storing their Holy Grails (rarity, high value, favorite game ever, etc?) Do they sit on the shelf like everything else, or get locked in the vault? A silly curiousity, really.

Well tell us what you do with yours!
Personally I keep mine in one of those old glass door stereo cabinets. Keeps the dust off of my zemmix's a little better at least.

Comic Book/Magazine bags work well for protecting games with or without boxes.

I keep my Radiant Silvergun under the short leg of the couch for safekeeping and only take it out when I want to play it. Seriously though, my rares are kept in a box in the coolest, dryest corner of my room: a high cabinet where it's safe from visiting nephews and incontinent pet felines.

my rares and favorites are kept right among the rest of my games.
but if i had a aes metal slug, it would probably get special treatment.

I put all my rares right with the rest of my collection, but then again I treat all my games very carefully. I do keep my prototypes in a seperate container though.

Funnily enough, in with the rest of the collection... though of course they get handled a lot better heh...

Ok, but nothing too exciting. Mine are in a drawer with many other non-rare games. As with what was already mentioned, I treat pretty much every cart the same - from Super Mario 3 to Mega Man 7. They're all important and special in their own ways ; )
