Hey how's it going everyone?

We just got our new Preview Tape at Gamestop which has the new trailer for Shin Migami: Digital Devil Saga and WOW! does the song played through out the trailer kick much ASS! I LOVE it. When I got home last night I researched the song which is called "Danger" by a not so known band called "Etro Anime" to my surprise I found that they have there own CD entitled "See the Sound" so I called around town to see if anybody had it, most people where closed, but luckily my local Barnes and Noble had one, $12.99 plus my discount which works there, I got the CD for $11.00.

Ladies and Gentleman let me tell you this is one of the best cd's I have heard in a long time, now I can easily see why Atlus choose "Danger" one of this bands songs to be the main title theme to Digital Devil Saga. Trust me this cd is worth every penny and I would have easily paid full price, do your self a favour and buy this breathtaking cd "See the Sound" Here is some more info about the group and there involvement with Digital Devil:

Atlus U.S.A. announces musical synergy with drum-n-bass band Etro Anime for Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga. SMT: Digital Devil Saga soundtrack to feature the song "Danger" for the PlayStation 2.

Irvine, CA June 4, 2004 – Atlus U.S.A., Inc., has today announced an exclusive partnership with Etro Anime to feature the song “Danger” in Atlus’ groundbreaking RPG, SMT: Digital Devil Saga soundtrack which was recently announced at the Electronics Entertainment Expo for the PlayStation®2 Computer Entertainment System. The song will also be featured in a downloadable trailer from www.digitaldevilsaga.com.

The band issued the following statement. “Etro Anime is thrilled to contribute "Danger" to the soundtrack of Digital Devil Saga since several members are video game junkies. The melancholy of the track blends well with the constant rain in the game as does the fast tempo of drum-n-bass with the battle scenes. We couldn't think of a more appropriate video game to feature this song and are looking forward to getting our hands on it.” – Etro Anime

"Etro Anime means "To be infinite: with spirit and in movement which pretty much echoes the style of Digital Devil Saga," said Gail Salamanca, Marketing Manager at Atlus. ”When it came time to put together the E3 trailer for Digital Devil Saga, we wanted a song that would capture the sci-fi theme and urgency of this truly unique game, but at the same time outlining the main characters’ emotional relationship in the process. To that effect I think we have succeeded. With the addition of “Danger” to an already amazing soundtrack and game, role-playing fans really have something to be excited about this winter."

Etro Anime bio taken from the Neurodisc records website:

Etro Anime means "To be infinite: with spirit and in movement". Formed in Y2K, Etro Anime embodied this mantra, thus beginning their career playing gigs in cozy New York City clubs including Izzy Bar, Rebar and The Spiral Lounge. The band’s charismatic live show has won fans over from around the globe, from the local gigs around Manhattan to headlining with Kosheen across Europe! Combining various elements of sultry lounge, head nodding trip-hop and the catchy upbeat rhythms of drum & bass with the warm and sensual vocals create an alluring song of sirens if you will. Consisting of Ted Birkey, David Fisher, Shambo Pfaff, Tom Welsch and Lissette Alea on vocals, Etro Anime is poised on developing a strong base of technical talent into a body of musically intelligent and innovative songs. All of the members bring their experience as musicians, their own creativity and passion for the music into the band. That's probably why their music contains so many elements of different musical styles. You hear pieces of trip hop and drum & bass mingled with phat beats and soulful grooves. Originally released on Entry 1 Records in Europe their debut CD, “See The Sound,“ was licensed for exclusive release in the US to Neurodisc Records. Visit them on the web at www.etroanime.com.

It would rock if they made an effort to get all these games (or at least several) to come over...I coudl see the current gen ones making it, and MAYBE (aka wishfully) a collection of the older ones, but the chances of the 32-bit era ones showing over here are about nothing (some PSX ones made it, none of the saturn ones though as far as I'm aware).

The fact that SMT:Nocturne only came over because "it has dante in it" is insulting. That game is awesome all by itself.
