grabbed em all , and they are all Lightspan stuff. for educational purpose only, not for retail sale :D i think i may have left a couple there too, cause the one i had seen originally wasn't in the stack. (didnt realize that till right now :( ) oh well, have to go back now

Last night I found my old, dead Sega CD and fixed it -- still strugles sometimes with loading but I'll tweak it later. Also found a VERY flakey loose Fatal Rewind in the same drawer, but I have no memory of ever buying this game. >_>

Did old Gameboy games come with inner boxes like N64 and SNES games? I've got three boxed games with manuals and clamshells, but none of them have inner boxes and it seems odd that Nintendo would let the carts just flop around in the boxes like that. :/

Yes they came with an inner tray to hold the cart, much like a SNES or N64 box. I believe the tray was plastic, but im not positive and I dont have any games near me at the moment.

I grabbed the Plug & Play it was $5.00 (ton of them hung up.)..they had others like the Casino version,the Sega and others in the isles of piles ..
Lots of handheld games were cheap too..
I just had to pass on the stuff,so many deals..I grabbed what I could..(may go back)
The BOWLERCADE was an item I was going to buy at Kmart when they had them on sale for $49.99
They didn't have any left when I went.
It's marked $79.99..Scans at $16.00..I got it for $16.00..they are all $16.00,the 6-7 they have left with a Golf type(huge)too.
It's big(over 6 Feet Long) .it's electric has all these modes the pins go up and retract,plus the balls have a return..
My Son played this for 2 hours straight.

Last Night I hit the nearby Kohl's that always sucks.(Poor Management/unorganized-messy store)
They had junk..Some games etc but no clearance sales..(a waste of time as I expected)

Tonight I took a trip back up to the Kohl's I scored at the other day.(It's a dead store)...Along the way I passed what I call the main Kohl's in the area that's always busy.
I forgot about that store,but it's always so busy I doubt they'll have anything.(should check)

Looking in the toy section of this Kohl's tonight I notice so many games that have been opened(stolen)..It's just a total mess in that section.
They had a few Activision Plug & Play TV game sets left and a ton of the VS Maxx sets.
At $5.00 they are worth it but I don't need more then one..

I grabbed EA Sports and the World Poker Tour versions.
World Poker Tour version is marked $39.99 as opposed to the others at $29.99..
I almost passed on the World Poker Tour version but at 80% off it comes out to be $8 bucks

At the register however they no longer ring up at 80% off..they ring up at 20% off now.
But the signs are still up in that department for 80% off.
The lady kept telling us we can't have them for the 80% off.(Sales Over!!!)..but my wife works in retail and knows her shit..
She got the women to call that department and read the sign,plus my wife showed her the receipt for the Plug & Play TV game I got a few days ago in that same store for $5.00.
The lady would still not budge,even putting the two of them under the counter...like shoeing us away,figuring we say fk it..
My wife insisted she call the toy dept and read the sign..So she did.(we held up the line)The sign was still up and they called the lady on the intercom...They had to give them to us for the $5.00 and $8.00 ..She was so pissed off..
I said to the lady..If the sale is over then,maybe they should take the signs down..

Nope. The freeiPod.com people are *VERY* careful about who the send the free iPods out too. They track all IP addresses and If they even suspect you of trying to set up bogus accounts, they'll put your account on hold. I had my brother who lives in a different city sign up for me and they rejected his referral. I think it was just because our last names were in our email address and they thought I was using multiple accounts. That is how picky they are.

And now back on topic......... In the last week at the same thrift store I have picked up:

1. Super Nintendo, w two controlers that were brand new (had warranty replacement, not for resale stickers on the back).

2. SNES Pilotwings, in box that still had 90 percent of the original plastic on it. Complete with game, inner cardboard tray, instructions and plastic dust cover.

3. Gradius III in box with inner cardboard tray, instructions and plastic dust cover.

4. Last but not least (or maybe least) SNES NCAA Basketball with inner cardboard tray, instructions and plastic dust cover.

All three complete games were only 2.29 each and the SNES was only 7.99. Also if anyone has an extra set of AV plugs and a AC adaptor they wouldn't mind selling PM me, I need them for the above mentioned SNES.
