And no not the kind that you buy your girlfriend :) I am talking about things like radio controlled Mario Kart characters etc.....

I have recently discovered these through my son and personally think that they are great - anyone here collect them?

I don't have any of the Mario Kart RC cars but I've been "collecting" video game toys since I was 3 or 4. It's a fun collection and a great complement to the games themselves.

I don't collect them, but I have a few, including a few kids meal toys that I've come across at thrift stores. A pull-back Mario Kart toy, a mario figure and a Kirby game where you flick pink balls into Kirby's mouth. I think all of them were from Burger King. I also have the Super Monkey Ball hot wheel car. I also have a bunch of the Burger King Pokemon toys in a box in my closet.

I could have had all the Super Mario Bros. 3 happy meal toys in their bagges too - about a year ago, a local hobby store had several of them (along with a bunch of other happy meal toys) at 50 cents a pop. I decided not to get them at first (and to this day I really don't know what I was thinking at the time), but I changed my mind shortly after that and went back to the store - and the whole rubbermaid bin of happy meal toys was gone. :(

I have about 300 (probably more) strewn around the game room. There are more out there then you would think. There's a crazy amount of Mega Man stuff out there now and a few Street Fighter figs to be had. Game Pro had a short lived line a year or two ago, McFarlane has done some great work, and those RC cars include a huge Crash Bandicoot, smaller Mario Kart series, and then there are some non-RC Mario Kart cars. There are plenty more to get into too. If you have a KB Toys Outlet near you, check them. They have tons of stuff like this.

I've got a shelf filled with nothing but Megaman figures. And yet I still need more, despite my lack of room. I'd kill for that Snakeman figure from the '95 cartoon.

8-) Very nice - I get the distinct impression my son wants a room like that but it may take a while :eek 2:

Got two RC Mario Karts from the SNES period, great items imho (and much cooler than those from the N64/GBA)

Both are never used, although the Mario one's box is a bit damaged :(

I had a Japanese Mario Kart 64 remote controlled car toy, sold it on eBay last year.

I've got some other stuff too, little action figures and such, mostly Sonic.

I just realized I have an M. Bison action figure buried in a box somewhere. I should dig it out and display it.

I'd like to get one of those R/C Mario Kart toys someday too.
