I must say, I've not come across any of these before!

Obviously a pirate Megadrive console of some sort ... but a pretty cool one, I have to say! What does one call a pirate MD? Famiclone works well for the Nintendo systems .. but what about Sega? Maybe they should be called Megadrones .. or something.

Anyway .. groovy piece of kit. I'm sure it will go for far more than I would pay though. And no doubt it was bought from China or somewhere for £3.50!

Pretty damn cool for a clone. Wanna bet the analog stick does nothing? Or amybe they rigged it to be menacer imput..that would rock.

How come all pirate consoles for the Genesis / Mega Drive all claim to be "Mega Drive 3"?

To my knowledge, there is only one true one, and it is the official Genesis 3 which is a funny octagonal shape which was released in something like 1996 (I believe)

Do these pirate console makers think people are dumb? Anyone with an ounce of sense would spot this is a fake a mile off.

The later Brazilian units were also (officially) called the Mega Drive 3. Visually they're the similar as the standard Mega Drive 2.

I've seen several different MD pirates, but this one has got to be one of the coolest. I'll keep an eye on it :)

That console looks cool. But I wonder if the game would freeze if you shake a little bit the controller :hmm:

yes they freeze up alot with the carts.

Ok for action games but wouldnt try an rpg.

I have seen the EXACT same Dreamcast pirate thing before but it played Famicom carts..
