Saw a preview of this in new GamePro.

Wow looks pretty good. (reminds me of Van Helsing a little) Thoughts?

(Also saw Nano Breaker, looks like a good 2nd hand purchase, but not an essential)

It's going to be one of those really good sleeper hits. There is almost no major marketing behind it at the moment but yet the word has been spreading around pretty decently. Definatley a game to keep your eye out on come this May.

Join the site using Kaine's link, Everything you need to know about it can be found there. :)

I like the concept, but the movie I watched looked like it featured really bad AI that just constantly spawned and rushed you. Looks like a budget title to me, but then I haven't been following it closely.

I'll probably be picking this up eventually... almost any game with zombies it alright by me.

Plus I was saying for years that we needed a Sci-Fi Zombie Western game(scary, I know), and they've finally delivered LOL

Alot of game trailers you see are sped up to show constant action. The AI in the game does not constantly "spawn and rush" as you think it does. Trailers are designed to show the consumer non-stop action. :)

Capcom had nothing to do with the development of the game and only hopped on right before this years E3 as a publisher. Sammy Studio's are the people responsible for most of the development...I say "most" because Sammy left before it was completely done to merge with Sega and a bunch of the guys from the development team joined forces to create High Moon Studio's. Sega was supposed to be the original publisher of Darkwatch. But due to the merger the game was dropped by both companies for unknown reasons...Thus the creation of High Moon and Capcom hopping on board as just a publisher.

This month's OXM demo bored me to death. I had some hope for this title; after the demo, zilch. Another by the numbers FPS.

Your one of the very few that I have read which didn't enjoy it. To each their own I guess.

To me it seemed that they were relying on this "concept" of having some sort of gothic/survival horror wild-west at the expense of any gameplay innovation. The AI of the enemies was bland, the weapons were fairly run-of-the-mill (in action if not visaully), and the level design seemed awfully linear and repetitive. I just think that demos should give you something to make you want to buy the game, and the two OXM demos I've played thus far certainly didn't compell me to do so. I suppose I could pick it up as a rental and distract myself for the weekend. Is it multi-console? I was playing the Xbox version, and the Xbox has quite a few satisfying and innovative FPS titles. Maybe if I only had a PS2 I'd be more impressed. I don't know.

Actually the PS2 version is the one NOT to get...They scrapped alot of the multiplayer aspect of the game in favor of Xbox Live.

If I remember correctly, The Xbox version gets the online multiplayer and the because PS2 version gets no online play at all and only co-op mode because something about Xbox Live gave the dev's what they wanted and PS2's online couldn't deliver in that aspect. Other than that their both the same.

So you didn't like the first demo either? Maybe you have high expectations or dreams... The first demo got an extreme buzz going over at Xbox.com...But like I said, To each their own.
