I'm not a massive NIntendo fan (so shoot me) but I personally think Pikmin is the best GC game to date. It showed what Nintendo were capable of, it looked lush, played really well and was fantastically innovative.

Not an exclusive, but I love Ribbit King. The gamecube version has the bonus disc, which makes it the better choice anyway.

It was the only game I could really get the last girl I dated into at all. Didn't mind, though, it's good, non-stressful fun. Could never figure out a possible way to ever get a hole-in-one, though, with all the random goofiness that takes place.

With the games I've played and owned thus far, I'm going with Time Splitters 2. The game is a great shooter to me with lots of game modes and options. It's a centerpiece of my Gamecube games believe it or not. But I'm satisfied and sure I might stumble across a better game cause the consule isn't dead yet.

I notice that there's only one baseball game there and it's Backyard Baseball, not an MLB-licensed game. My all-time favorite baseball franchise is MVP Baseball which, unfortunately, ended with MVP Baseball 2005. But I'd suggest adding that one anyway...if people don't mind using slightly out of date rosters. It's still a great game.

I just got a GC about a month ago, primarily for the RE Games... and recently purchased Eternal Darkness for it, and the game I've ended up playing the most is... ... ... ... Animal Crossing... which has cartoony graphics, and really no story. It's really strange because I generally only like games with explosions, shoot, killing, or any combination of the three. It has zero learning curve and very forgiving... I got pissed off after an hour of ED because I hadn't saved at a good spot... and I kept getting killed when I would reload the game... So I gave it the middle finger and bought Animal Crossing, which I balance out with stealing candy from children and kicking cute little kittens.

I'm sure I've said it before, but if you have a 'cube, you *must* get Skies of Arcadia. One of the best RPGs I've ever played.

I'll put it on my list then, thanks.

Skies of Arcadia may be the only huge JRPG that I played to completion. At least it's the only one I remember. My only gripe is that it's bogged down by random encounters. Without those, the game would have 99% less tedious. I can't stand the fight every 10 seconds thing. Especially when the outcome is always a foregone conclusion. The fact that I played it in spite of all that is a testimony to how good the rest of the game is.

Other favs:
Harvest Moon: Wonderful Life and Song of Happiness
Chibi Robo
Odama
Killer7
Windwaker
Eternal Darkness
RE4
Luigi's Mansion
Mario Sunshine
Viewtiful Joe 1&2

I vote for Mario Kart, for me it's the game I go back to most often if I'm going to play gamecube.

Is it time to start an official top 25 or 100 or whatever for gamecube since games aren't being made (for the most part) anymore.
