Check out Lik-Sang. They have the latest releases for DC, the last one was late last year if I remember right, though they are not SEGA games, but 3rd party games. Here is a link:

Scroll down for the latest releases. Play-Asia also sells these releases.

not too many new releases...
recently, chaos field, and baldor force exe were released like a month ago, as for future releases, theres a shooter titled trizeal, which looks pretty cool... as well as a new music game, which i forget the name of it, but looks pretty sexy.
theres probably new dating simulations being released too, unfortunately, Dreamcast gets OVERLOADED with these, but i guess its good to still have games being released on DC, even if they cost u a hefty price.
as for the sega releases, they released new Dekore releases, which is like greatest hits for Sega Dreamcast in japan.
hope this helps... btw, when u planning on sending me my money order :-p

Can anyone post a complete list of postmortum import shooters for the Dreamcast? I only know of Ikaruga and Border Down. Also I remember Zero Gunner 2 was a good shooter, but I think that was released before the death of the Dreamcast. I want to update my collection with some import shooters.

All shooters released after the Dreamcast's "death":
Border Down (regular and limited editions)
Psyvariar 2: The Will to Fabricate
Castle Shikigami 2 (regular and limited editions)
Chaos Field
Tri-Zeal (forthcoming in April)
Chaos Field and Border Down are also available for the Naomi arcade system :) I don't know if the other three are.

Yes, all three are. They're GD-ROM games:

Obviously, Trizeal isn't out yet, though. ;)

Border down is probably my favorite game, all those shooters are classics...

I've heard nothing but good things about Psyvariar and Shikigami, and Border Down rocks. Chaos Field is pretty much one boss battle after another, fun game, but not as good as the others.

If you like shooters....definitely. I personally prefer Border Down, and am waiting for my Chaos Field to try out. Psyvariar 2 and Castle Shikigami are both "crazy bullet shooters" where it's more of a dance to avoid fields of bullets than it is blasting enemies, but I'm told they're quite good as well. I didn't buy either cause I don't go for that style of shmups :)

Puyo Puyo Fever, a puzzler, was released last year on Dreamcast as well. It's an arcade perfect Naomi port.
And... for a shameless plug... I happen to have like-new copys of PPF and Psyvariar 2 for the DC on ebay right now :) I'm in the US, too. I'm only selling them because I don't play them, and they are the only import DC games I have. Do a seller search under "geddon01" if you might be interested.
They are both great games. Best of all, Puyo Puyo Fever plays in full english after a quick adjusment in the options screen.
Border Down (regular and limited editions)
Psyvariar 2: The Will to Fabricate
Castle Shikigami 2 (regular and limited editions)
All good shooters. I own em and are worth the cash. BorderDown is the best of the bunch for sure. BD is more of a shooter and less of a "dodger" like the other two. Still fuckin cool!

Well, KOF 2k, 2k1, and 2k2 all came out on the DC after it officially "died".

A lot of those aren't 2D. Zero Gunner and Border Down DEFINTELY aren't. Don't think Ikaruga or Psyvariar are 2D either.
You're missing Giga Wing though :D

Gameplay-wise those are 2d, which i'm guessing is what he meant.

The company that released that game recently released two other games ;)

There will be at least another six releases within the next two years, and possibly as many as a dozen or more. All sorts of things from 2D platformers to FPS to arcade-like games are in the works...

Border Down, psyvariar, ikaruga, and giga wing are all definitely 2d. They may use polygons, but they're equally 2d as say, radiant silvergun, or r-type final, or gradius V.

Border Down, psyvariar, ikaruga, and giga wing are all definitely 2d. They may use polygons, but they're equally 2d as say, radiant silvergun, or r-type final, or gradius V.
No...they're 3D, on a 2D plane of play. A game is 3D when it's done in polygons. The field of play may be 2D, but the game itself is in 3D. The designation of 3D refers specifically to the graphics, at least that's the way I understand it and have always used the term. Gradius V is also a 3D game, as is R-Type Final.
The opposite end is when people refer to a game like Klonoa 2 as a "2.5D game", which is an indicator that the actual control only takes place on one plane, but the game itself is in 3D. Actually, now that I think about it, that's kind of confusing. I'd still say that Border Down and Gradius V and other polygon based shooters are in 3D though.

Agreed. A game is 2D or 3D based on it's graphical elements (sprites vs. polygons). There are few enough games that use both that that is probably the least confusing way to describe them.

I wouldn't. 3d is a gameplay connotation, as far as I'm concerned. I can't run in all directions in smash bros, so thats 2d. Similarly, I can't fly freely like in say, Rogue Leader, in R-Type Final, so that'd be a 2d game.
it clearly comes down to whether or not you think 3d is a graphical style or a gameplay element. Though I personally feel there's enough evidence to say it's more of a gameplay connotation then anything.

I'd agree that 2D is a term usually used to describe gameplay, not graphic composition. Most of Viewtiful Joe was done in polygons, but it is most definitely a 2D game. Wasn't Yoshi's Story for the N64 the same way? And Kirby: The Crystal Shards?
Games like the shooters in quesiton are 2D shooters. Games like Star Fox Assault is a 3D shooter.
And 2.5D games are usually used to describe games where the graphics are two-dimensional sprites while the dimensions you can move in are in 3D. Syndicate springs to my mind as a good example of a 2.5D game, although yes -- the term is greatly misleading.
