Hello! I heard that Gamecrazy bought most things game related, so I was wondering what kind of prices they were giving on various NES and N64 games and systems. I know that I e-bay is more than likely the way to go, but I can get a somewhat reasonable amount in trade I would rather go that route than deal with e-bay. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

gamecrazy i would avoid for N64 related stuff, pretty over prices...NES stuff isnt THAT bad...from personal experience ( i used to work there ) if you get the MVP card, you save 10% on used games so if u buy a decent amount of them, you can save some cash, usually they tend to have a decent amount of decent games

ah my bad, trade ins....ugh dont even bother, with NES your looking at 10-50 cents on average with a few 1.00 games thrown in, N64 is a little better, but the best trade ins are still for the newer systems

10-50 cents a piece ??? @_@
That is horrible! Please sell your games on ebay, or sell them to other members here. I am sure someone here is willing to give you at least $2 a game for a large lot.

There are 2 Gamecrazy's next to my house one of them I will never set foot in again. This long haired hippie clerk there had this stack of Saturn and big box PS1 games behind the counter. So, I asked him if I could see them, he prints me out a list for the saturn games about 30 or so. But for the PS1 games he just asks me what I want, I can't see. LOL
Finally the guys puts them on the counter, no prices on any of them, So ask if they are a set price, he says no, I ask if he can print out a list for these so I can see how many I can get, he says no, I then ask If some time in the next week he can price tag these and then I can just come back. He says he isn't ganna bother because no one ever buys these games. WTF! @_@
This asshole was the laziest sack of monkey island shit I have ever met. So needless to say I never go to that store anymore since that kid is the full time employee.
And yes their are all out of whack, $20 for lode runner for the nes is to much. O_O

A loose Theme Park is $29.99. LOL
Consider checking out the buying and selling forum here. There are a lot of reputable people here who might want what you have to sell.

The local Game Crazy stores here don't even have Game Gear stuff (fortunately, CD/Game Exchange does).

Yikes! I figured due to the high prices they were slapping on them there might be a CHANCE they may pay something reasonable. I knew chances were that they didn't. Thanks for your help everybody! E-bay here I come!

Wow, because the other day, I saw a GameGear system for $24.99 and a Saturn fighter pad (The sega brand one for $24.99 as well)
I was surprised to see GameGear or Saturn stuff

Come to think of it, they do have Game Gear consoles from time to time. I was just thinking of the games and not the console when I made my other post for some reason! But I never see GG games there.

The Gamecrazy in my area has a pretty decent selection of Game Gear stuff. All the games are loose and most of them are common, but there's only one other store in the area that has that kind of stuff (an indie shop).
A few weeks ago I bought an official Game Gear carrying case at Gamecrazy for $3.99.

The Gamecrazy I live next to has tons of GameGear games and systems They also have a decent amount of saturn games. Fortunantly the people that work there also collect games i have gotten into a couple talks with employees there.
They give me free stuff for old systems pretty often. Not very big things but something free is always nice.

I guess I'm fortunate to be near a good GameCrazy. I question their pricing on some things from time to time (Like a $29.99 Bangai-O that was obviously a Hollywood rental due to the imprint on it in a generic jewel case) but they are usually reasonable. The employees are pretty cool, and one of them is even an old friend of mine who I hadn't seen in awhile prior to my visits. I usually get caught up in a conversation each time, no crap employees.
