Just thought I'd share this with everyone in case you're interested:

Lots of things you might not have know, probably didn't want to know and plenty of reunions. If you loved GF like I did its a must read (and at 35 pages its a long read). Plus a lot of the old staff is planning on bringing out a new e-zine called Hardcore Gamer Magazine. *drool*

I'll never think of "3 foot Sonic" the same again. =)

Awesome, I'll take a look when I get a chance. It reminds me of a labor of love I did elsewhere, as well... *warning* cheap plug coming in...

Sega Saturn Magazine's top 50 Saturn PAL Games (a UK publication)

6 pages long... some real good reading... 6,000+ hits to date... some great tributes and pieces in there... make sure to keep an eye peeled. Stuff like the 3 piece Radiant Silvergun tribute is AWESOME.

A New Beginning...
The Fans Strike Back...
and..
Return of the Prophet!

That's all on page 3...

EDIT:

I loved EGM from the beginning til about early 1998.

GameFan ruled as well.

Good magazines, good times, good memories.

But for me SSM is the new king. They remind me of good days forever gone... but yeah, GameFan great publication.

I'm involved with the HCG project and it's looking great so far. It's not trying to be Game Fan 2 but still has a lot of the charm.

Wow, that was quite a thread! Thanks for pointing it out. Great read, aside from the the usual l33t speaking idiots who tried to derail it several times. What a soap opera!

I loved GF back in the day. Part of what I consider a golden age in gaming. The 16-Bit to early 32-bit era was a blast. I was just the right age to really get into it.

Also, it's crazy, but I had no idea that Nick Rox was only in his mid-teens when he wrote for GF. Maybe that's why it spoke to me so.
