This time it's Donkey Kong for the NES. All I want is the box. I couldn't care less about the shrinkwrap around it.

Those idiots are just shilling it up anyway. Most of the bidders on the bid history are the same guy. This is not an auction result to trust, believe me.

Considering the high bidder has good feedback , you would think that he/she would have tried to snipe this thing and win it for less than what it is currently going for.
Oh, and I almost forgot... paying $1,000 for a common NES game in its sealed form=mental !!!!! x_x

1000.00 for any game is re-cock-ulous! Sealed or not, what it the big deal about a game that you'll never play?

Oh - I highly doubt anyone will actually pay it because there is mass shilling afoot...
Trust me on this.. it's just one idiot with several copies trying to keep anyone else from having one. Here's the pic said douchebag-cumstain sent me along with a picture of his middle finger. His dick must be about two inches long from how hard he tries to compensate LOL

How did you determine this and for what reason would a bidder bid for the same item under multiple identities?

Do you really need more proof than that picture to believe what I'm saying?

Hey, post the middle finger pic, and I'll jump into the fray, port style.

It's really not very attractive to look at - I don't think it's appropriate to post. Why not just jump in anyway, although I'm not sure what you're hinting at, if anything.

I don't see the shill bidding happening. I have either sold to or bought from almost all the bidders on that list. Except for the current high bidder and like one of the very first bidders on the auction.

Simple.
Some things are just worth more to others than the exact same item might mean to you.

It's late and I'm tired so Yeah, I do need it explained. While he may or may not be an idiot I still don't see anything that makes me believe that someone is shill bidding or using multiple identities?

Whatever. If you don't want to believe me that's your prerogative but I can't go into further details. Actually it's more I "won't" than can't - I'm not going to waste 30 mins writing out a huge post with all the details, sorry, and no offense.

haha omg, 1000 dollars for 1 game?? Thats insane. Wonder if he will ever get the money. One bidder have high feedback and have given a bid of $999.99 so it looks legit to me.
Bronty-2
02-13-2005, 02:38 PM
Doesn't a bid of 999 tell you everything you need to know? Most people bid round #s or amounts just over round #s. Rarely do you see bids like 999 - it's designed to bump someone up to their full max if their full max is $1000. It will increase the price without making them the winning bidder.

02-13-2005, 02:43 PM
Exactly, everyone knows that if you want to win you put in a bid higher than the next rounded off #.
Like $1001.39 so you will beat someone with a max bid of $1000.01
$999 does look like a shill to bump up the price over $1000

Auction ended... seller said that he got tired of the shilling and just pulled the auction and will keep it :/
