lol, I wouldn't say bastardization of it. It is the SAME exact pad afterall, with that lame logo on it. I'm a huge Saturn fan, and I'm not a big Sony fan, but hey, what we gonna do?

Oh yeah, buy one, and enjoy the glory of playing 2D fighters on PS2 with a badass Saturn pad. That sounds better than yelling about it.

I think we can get through this situation, with a bout of 3rd Strike or two, that'll calm down everyone.

Agreed. It's not that I don't think it's a cool controller or anything like that, because it is. It's just I found it to be some what like a smack in the face to sega and most of it's diehard fans. Just think about it, if it wasn't for Sony, maybe just maybe Sega would still be in the console running. I mean, Sony is basically the whole reason sega is just a software company now because of the PS2's hype pretty much destroying the Dreamcast, even though it was chugging out some AAA titles that were all arguable better then what Sony was bring to the table. Maybe i'm just ranting, but I know I can't be alone on this.

Looks legit to me. The fact is, if it was photoshopped they probably wouldn't have put in all of the details that it has:

- The select and start buttons are different. And lookin' good.
- There is a small square, triangle, circle and X symbol above certain buttons, as well as a R and L. They line up perfectly with how the control of 2D fighters do on the PSX.
- You can see the person leaning over the controller to take the picture and the room it is in. All of the reflections line up perfectly, including the select and start buttons, the X plastic and the Playstation logo.

Very cool. I would like that a ton for all of the non-analog control PSX games.
