Well since I have 4 Sony LCD Screens laying around and I have a few odd systems like my Polystation, I decided to have a little fun.

An hour later and here's the results of my first experiment.

Ahh retro Nes goodness at it's portable finest....

Now to find my battery and see what it's like on the road.

Heh... that's awesome! I hate those bootleg NES controllers though, any idea if they sell adapters so you can use regular NES controllers with them, or do we have to make our own?

I was going to rewire the controller port to accept a regular nes or a real Playstation controller (regular PS1 not dual shock).

I just haven't decided which one. :hmm:

Do you know where these are still available on the web, other than ebay?

I don't think you can find the Polystation for sale online anymore.

But fellow DP members have mentioned seeing them at FleaMarkets .

Maybe someone will see this thread and offer one for sale. :-P

I'd personally go w/ the regular NES controller, playing NES with anything else just doesn't feel right. Heh, just imagine if they had LCD screens for the NES back when NES was new, that would have been so cool!

Well a quick update.

Soldered the Polystations power supply connector to the PSone Sceens connector and now the PSone LCD's power supply runs both the LCD and the Polystation. Ergo the car adapter powers both, ergo the battery powers both. :D

I'm well on my way to having the ultimate Polystation Portable. (PP for short, hmmm that doesn't work eo well does it. ) LOL
