I was at Toys R Us today and saw Primal for PS2 for $1.50 plus tax. I was pretty shocked by that. Because finding any current generation game below $5 brand new is a difficult thing.

But apparently, this game isn't worth a damn.

Sony must have made millions of these things, and they just can't sell them.

I went to Ebay, to see if people were selling them on Ebay, and there are tons of people selling them for like 99 cents with 4 bucks shipping, and they aren't getting any bids.

Pretty amazing if you ask me.

I mean, if I found a PS2 game at a Thrift store, used and in crappy condition for less than 3 bucks I would be suprised. But here is a game that is brand new, factory sealed, and it's not even worth the $1.50 and tax that Toys R Us is selling it for.

I would have to imagine that places like GameCrazy and GameStop aren't allowing anybody to trade these games in at all.

I bought 20 copies to trade in to Gamecrazy. 20 copies = $30 = $100 in bonus trade in credit at game crazy on top of whatever they already give in credit for them. And yes, they take them.

Also, according to Portnoyd, FYE gives $5 in store credit for them.

Also it's a decent game.

Not very appealing to most casual gamers and the like.

Even If it sucks ANY game new is worth $1.50. It's just another game for your collection. I buy sucky games if there that cheap. One day your gunna be collecting PS2 and be like man I should of bought this game when I had the chance.

Guess you missed the Toys R Us thread- all green tags are 90% off.

TRU is discounting them- not because it's a bad game. I found it quite enjoyable & well-made, w/ some star-power voice acting & innovative gameplay. In fact, it was called "revolutionary" on Judgement Day as one of their "Buried Treasures", FWIW.

You'll find lots of discounted games- not because they suck, but because the particular store has too many of them.
