Does anyone collect Gift Cards???

I'm talking about some cool gift cards with NO money on them such as...

Halo 2 Gift Card from Gamestop
Sims 2 gift card from Wal-mart
Mario gift card from Haastings
Doom 3 gift card from Wal-mart.....

And there are tons more...Just wondering if someone else had a fetish for Video Game gift cards or if it was just me.

they just might be the next hot collectible and be worth something some day :D

I have a San Andreas and a Star Wars: KOTORII card from Wal-Mart.
I thought they looked cool so I picked them up. I may start collecting them just because. Weird huh?

I actually just took them. I work at Wal-Mart and these things are everywhere. Nobody who works there even notices these things. Every gift card in the store is the same thing. These just have some video games on the them. They're basically worthless. But they are cool I will agree.

I wouldn't say I collect them. But I do have a few empty Blockbuster game and movie themed gift cards.

ive got a playstation one, a mario one and another one i cant remember(maybe the gamecube logo?) from target. i put $5 on them and then went through the line again and paid for my stuff. they are still on the cardboard hanger thing though.

are u allowed to just take the gift cards?

i dont see what theyd do if they caught you taking a gift card..theres not money on them and they are essentially free...(as you could conceivably place 1 cent on a gift card and it would cost you 1 cent)
