My Xbox is being very weird today. On the system menus, there is bad feedback/static that I can hear. When I put in a DVD, I get the same noise. I have checked, and my AV cables are properly connected. Does anyone have any idea as to what my problem is?

Can you test another set of cables? Blow out the Xbox AV jack? Try another sound output device (stereo, TV)
Start eliminating stuff. The prob may not be in the Box.
