View Full Version : Has anyone ever Watched the intro to Mario Power Tennis?

If you've skipped it all this time (as I have), check it out, it's spectacular. Yet another example of how much care and love Nintendo puts into its games. Especially worth noticing are all the stadium scenes; the way the lighting is done is simply beautiful.

I watched it once and decided that it was WAY too long to ever watch again. Good, but long.

It's always good when a game's intro really shows off the game and the system's powers. A good example is Sonic Adventure for the DC.

Wa ha ha, that and the Mario Golf intro are great. I remember working at Wal-mart when Mario Golf came out. Someone brought in the trailer in MPEG format and they played it on one of the demo computers on a continuous loop for hours. LOL

yeah i watched it (it's actually on a mag dvd here in germany) and it's awesome, i love those Camelot stuff :D

The credits for the game have just as much animation as the intro. But, rather, the credits animation is bloopers from the "filming" of the intro. It's pretty funny. I like that they chose to focus on Wario & Waluigi.

As cool as that intro is, it's just a pre-rendered FMV.
