My favorite arcade game from hell that never was is "My Dinner With Andre", on an episode of the Simpsons. Martin is playing it, there's a button marked "Bon Mots" and one marked "Tell Me More". (I can't remember the other buttons.) Martin presses the second button and says "Tell Me More!". Genius.

@Autobotracing--yes, that rectal-ramming Japanese game is certainly disturbing. The old-timers here on the board will recall when I posted about it last year. As a teacher of elementary kids in Korea, I felt the effects of that game personally. The younger ones who didn't know any better and who were inspired by the game took their enthusiasm for it into the classroom. I'll never forget the first time one of the little buggers crept up behind me and rammed his hands into my nether regions. Yes, a big hearty "WTF?!!" to the makers of that one. Kudos and huzzahs, we salute you.

I think Simpsons or Futurama also joked about the rock, paper, scissors video game.

Plus, rock, paper, scissors really is in that Alex Kidd Genny game. (Disguised as Jan Ken...)

I'm surprised there's not a rock, paper, scissors game for the PSX published by AgeTec for $10. Maybe in a couple of weeks they'll have it out. 8-)
