I'll be traveling to New York City & DC sometime this spring. Any rocommendations for places to hit for older games while I'm there?
Thanks in advance!

If there are any good places in NYC, it would be news to me. I've been living here for 3 years and haven't found any especially good places. From my experience, game hunting is so much better in less-populated areas.

Game stores SUCK in NYC. You would have thought otherwise, but it's such a consumer based town with everything being "current" that old games get left in the dust. Multimedia 1.0 is St. Marks place is good, but that's all I've found - and that place isn't THAT good. NYC is a great place to go shopping for music, totally awesome. but NOT games.

Hi ,
The New York scene has changed over the last few years. I moved away a little over a year ago. I cant wait to stop back. Although older games might be harded to find you can still get hard to get imported games and stuff. China town still mods ps1 and saturns last time it was like 20 bucks come back in an hour. they have stores that still have older rare games but you will pay. Im sure you can even pick up a psp.
Good Luck

DC has the benefit of at least two EStarland locations nearby, along with Pandora's Cube.

We've also got a ton of thrift stores and six tons of pawn shops.

Personally, my favorite city for game shopping is Pittsburgh, where I went to college. Stuff is retardedly cheap there, I'm taking a road trip this summer just to fill up my entire trunk with games.

Multimedia 1.0 closed, or is closing. Doesn't matter, because my god, were they overpriced on anything remotely decent.
