Damn right it's an obvious reseal.
I'm wondering how they tried to achieve that vertical seam. I know that they tried to bind the bottom somehow, as you can apparently see from that white bar (looks like some labeling tape to me) right at the bottom of the back.

I think that the white tape was put on the back to stop the seam from splitting open all the way donw to the bottom. Either that or the tape is over the rip to help stitch it back up. But at least he is honest about the rip in the back seam and has photos so bidders can decide for themselves.
