OK, so I can't decide which one would be best quality. By looking at pictures I can tell which one looks the best or whutevarrr but I need quality over looks and that is what you arcade-maniacs must help me with. I'm looking for it to be universal and be good to play anything from Tekken 5 to SF2 on

THANKS 4 EFFORT...this is what i dug up so far...

Personally I'd get the Tekken 5 one that comes with the T5 Limited Edition... but they are only limited to 20,000 so better reserve one!

yea it looks nice...but isn't that the most toy-like one? Just looks plastic, light, and unlike real aracade feel

dude, those sticks are all shit, why dont you pick out one of the better sticks available on lik-sang?? jeez its like you picked the worst ones on purpose.
atleast get something made by hori, or with sanwa buttons and stick installed

i personally play with MAS sticks, because they are probably the best.

This is the only arcade stick that you will ever need.

Probably the best stick on the market. It uses quality components that are used in arcade cabs (forget the exact brand name) But this is quality through and through. I have used one in the flesh and it is great.

The Real Arcade Pro looks QUITE nice. I don't know if my local gamezone has that one or not....anyone used x-arcade? I was thinking about the two player one they have down there but don't know too much on how it handles...

You guys are all high. Go for a real arcade stick.

Check reviews over at www.retroblast.com (both text and video). A safe bet is the X-Arcade.

The games are worth a good stick.

wow you guys are funny. I might be wrong but it looks like you guys are all recomending and not recomending the same thing. The Tekken stick and the arcade stick are both made by Hori and most likely are the same stick. Hori makes great products so that would be my recomendation too.

Okay let me clarify a few things.

The Hori Real Arcade Pro/Tekken 5 stick uses Sanwa parts(The stick itself-authentic arcade part used in Japanese arcades). It's pretty much the Japanese equivalent to a MAS Stick(American style joystick)...

It all comes to preference.

Most of the fighting game community(MOST not all), prefer Japanese style sticks made by Hori, or they make their own using Sanwa parts. If you don't like the ball style you can even get a bat style top... check www.himuragames.com ...

Personally I prefer Hori/Japan style sticks. But if you'd like an American style stick(Teardrop/bat)... I would suggest MAS. www.massystems.com ...

As I joystick collector(I have just about every kind of arcade stick out there), I have a bit of confidence in my post... :) -_-

I confirmed with Hori that it is indeed a Real Arcade Pro... just minus the turbo/autofire functions.

MAS sticks are great.

The virtua stick coming out could be pretty sweet, though, since it isn't out, no idea on the quality.

It's the same as the ones that were rereleased with a USB connector for the PC...

From reports on those, people are saying that it's pretty much identical to the colorful Saturn Virtua Stick.
