Hey, I recently purchased Ice Climber from eBay and it doesn't work. I have cleaned it and it still doesn't work in my NES even with a new 72 pin connector. So I am looking to buy one from a member on the DP. So if you have one to sell please PM me.
Thanks :D

Did you take it apart and clean it with an eraser, or just use a cotton swab and some alcohol?

Cotton swab and alchohol. I have no tool to open up NES games and even if I did I wouldn't be sure what to do. If anyone knows what I can do let me know.
Thanks

Is a security bit something that I would find at a computer store. Like in one of those kits of tools you can use to build a computer. Or is this a tool that I am going to find at a local Home Depot or hardware store?

Thanks for all the help, I work at a CompUSA so I will be able to bring the game in the next time I work and see if the Tech Shop has a tool that will open the case up.
Once I get the cart open do you have any kind of cleaning instructions or should I look in the other part of the fourms. I know there is a different thread on how to clean and restore your carts. But if you had any tips on what to do it would probably save me some time searching.
Thanks

If that doesn't work, they're for sale on Ebay often and I believe they're only like $3.99 plus shipping.
Cheers

As mentioned above you will need this:

It's Sylentwulf's site...highy recommended guy with great service.
I don't think you can find the bit you need at CompUSA, but I guess it doesn't hurt to look.
