View Full Version : Good game stores in Seattle?

I'm going there for a few days, and one of my main goals is game hunting. Does anyone have any recomendations? I don't know the area at all, but I will be with someone who does.

It would be nice if there was a central thread for game store recommendations. I'm still looking for one in the San Francisco area.

Just Seattle or elsewhere? It's been a while since I moved from there, so the few I know might be gone.

Depends on where exactly you're gonna be. There's tons of thrift stores, though you're more likely to find something at the big chains (Goodwill or Value Village) than the little ones. There's a decent, but pricey, used game store near the U of Wash, and another one in Tacoma. Plus the usual GameCrazy, Gamestop, and EBgame stores.

Oh hell no, stay away from Tacoma! Just kidding.

I'm more familiar with North of Seattle... say from Smokey Point to Seattle.

Bunches of 'em, almost all adjacent to or inside a Hollywood Video (tho not every HV has a GC). You can use the store locator in the gamecrazy website to find them.
