Mods, I'm sorry, but I can't seem to find any PMs from me to this guy in my inbox.
Yeah, so, I know that I sold these to someone here, and I remember this person's AIM screenname being "I hate rap (some numbers)", or something like that. If this is you, could you please PM me stating whether you have sent money or not?
Thanks, and I apologize again :embarrassed:
EDIT: See below... topic has been changed.

Yeah, muffinman's AIM SN is ihaterap 943, which is pretty close to "I hate rap." We are most likely talking about the same guy.

Ok, thanks, you guys. Now, topic changed...
I'm having a bit of a dilemma with a trade with a fellow DP member. We set a rather large trade up quite a while ago (frankly, I have no idea how long ago it was). I didn't ship my stuff because he was a newer trader and I didn't want to risk losing my items.
This trader has claimed to have sent out his end of the trade mutliple times, and he also claims that the package was returned to him once. I highly doubt the truth to much of what this person says, and I'm sick of waiting. I would really just like to move the items that I was supposed to trade to him by selling them to someone else, yet, I'm not sure if the best thing to would be to sell them (potentially) behind his back.
Help?

I'd say give the person 48 hours to ship out the stuff with a tracking number, and send it out priority. If I didn't have the tracking number and/or the stuff in about 5 days, I'd resell it.

That's not a bad idea--I'll give him 5 more days. Thanks, Flack! You can lock this if you'd like.

i think you should get the items first then send it out your package :D
just be sure to let her/him know ahead.... cause the problem is that the package might get send back to the sender again ;)

That's what he's doing. He is waiting to send his half of the stuff until he get's what's coming to him. The problem is that nothing is coming to him.

Thanks for clearing up the flippin mess, GOSH.
Anyways, I would give the guy 2 weeks to officially send the stuff. The reason I usually don't accept money orders or trades is because there are alot of deadbeats that won't come through. The reason may not be because they're untruthful or don't have the goods...it just takes a little something extra to get a package to the post office with no reward....you have to wait. I can't stand sending money orders so how can anyone else? Paypal has us all whipped. If you can sell the goods to somebody else and you've waited 2 weeks+ then just pass it all up. If his package arrives, return it...maybe i'm being harsh because I should be in bed?
