I searched for the topic in the Classic Discussions board, but I came up empty (for a few pages, then I kinda gave up).

What license SHOULD be made into a game?

Dark Angel made it, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon accomplished it, but what do you think SHOULD be made that HASN'T been made?

I have to say, I'd like to see a great Batman game. I don't mean Dark Knight Batman, I mean Adam West and Burt Ward Batman! Can you imagine the cut-scenes?

"We were lead out to sea by a disasterous force... sea? The letter 'C'! As in Catwoman!

Your turn, what SHOULD be made that HASN'T yet?

I've always thought that a MacGyver game would kick ass.

How 'bout a decent Daredevil game? Please?

It wasn't a popular enough show but I always wanted a "Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors" game. I think if you used Blaster Master as the base and tweaked a few elements, it would fit the show beautifully. I've got the whole thing in my head, ....., but that helps none of you play the thing. Alas......

I'd love to see an updated Nightmare On Elm Street or Friday the 13th game.

A He-Man and the MOTU RPG would be nice.

Escape from NY / LA would be easy for most of these developers whose creativity is limited to guns and explosions.

Other than that, I think games should be creating original games - not leeching off of other media.

Yeah, an Escape from NY game GTA style...that would be sweet.

A Usagi Yojimbo game would be exceptional, if they were to pull it off right.

A remake of The Goonies II and a 3D version of Ghouls 'N Ghosts (Sure Maximo is ok, but I want Arthur back in action...)

night rider

actually there's at least 3 knight rider games 1 nes and 2 PC games and the pc games were released recently

my additions...sonic X! or maybe that F-zero show...

but seriously, someone needs to create a venture brothers game or a megas xlr game(which might happen since midway has the CN license)

I'll second the A-Team. That would be cool.

It's funny. This is the kind of thing that I think about sometimes. I'll see a show or a movie and think 'man, that would be a good game'. But now I can't think of anything....

I would love a REAL star wars game that is a straight up action/adventure game spanning through the original 3 films. Sorta like the on foot missions of rogue III on GC, only good.

I would love to see a game based on one of the movies Jason and the argonauts and clash of the titans. I know god of war is closely rlated but I would still love for one of these.

The C64 game was pretty good from what I remember.

I'd love to see a good game of Arena Football. There was the one extreme one for the Playstation, but I think a regular one would be very interesting.

Another game I would like to see is a fighting game featuring the great cereal mascots such as Tony the Tiger, Lucky from Lucky Charms, the Trix rabbit, and others. Snap, Crackle, and Pop would fight as a collective unit. Even the Sun could be in there somewhere to dump two scoops of plump, juicy raisins on an opponent. The elusive Boo Berry ghost would be a hidden character who is hard to unlock.

I was thinking it could be called "Kellogg's vs. General Mills," but that would leave out the cereals from Post (so no Sugar Bear), and Quaker (which would exclude icon Cap'n Crunch).

Two things:

Ender's Game. Not too tightly scripted (I wouldn't want to feel like "okay, THIS scene must be next"), and such an open game that the player could really be innovative.

The Running Man. Not the movie version (which is more like a video game anyway, what with the "bosses" and all), but following the book concept. Think of it as the ultimate stealth action game. Would be an enormous undertaking, though.

Let's not forget the greatest cereal mascots of all time: Boo Berry, Franken Berry, and Count Chocula.

A new Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy game graphically updated. Maybe using the likenesses from the movie. Frankly, I'm surprised with all the licensed movie games coming out lately, this one slipped by the makers. WTF?

The text adventure is one thing, but hell dammit, I want a 3D version!
