I need to know what each induvidual, tiny wire in a sega genesis sega brand 3-button controller cord (9 in all) dose and is for, and what each cord in an xbox controller dose and is for!

Help is despretly needed for my current project!

What is my current project, i will not say yet, but i will later, after i get some good info.!

I'm gonna guess it's for either hooking Genesis controllers up to an Xbox, or hooking Xbox controllers up to a Genesis. Do I win?

I am hoping to hook up a standard Genesis 3-button controller to my XBOX in order toplay my new copy of sonic Mega Collection + as it was ment to be played, with a good, old, Sega Brand Sega Genesis 3-Button Controller!!!

I am really hoping for this to be a sucess.

i plan on most of the time just switching the controllers when nesiciary, but i do also plan to make the XBOX controller conected to the wiring about half-way through the wires and cord so that i could just use that when i need to. I am not yet sure of that last part, though.

Please continue to send me any info. that you may have for my project to be a sucess, and please wish me LOTS of luck! :D

I doubt it'll be a straightforward job, as XBox controllers are electrically USB (albeit not standard PC gamepads, so you likely couldn't take a Retrozone kit and put an XBox connector on it).
