Were these pretty good prices on these? I know the Qix is somewhat hard to find, is that about what they go for with box and instructions? And the Atari I had been looking for for a little bit, I finally found a decent one on E-bay, and it's a heavy sixer like I wanted.....is that a pretty low serial # for a Sunnyvale? (according to the photo of the sticker in the corner of the pic... I don't know too much about these, would like the opinion of some experts on this board, which I know there are a lot :) Thanks in advance.....

The console sure looks pretty...dunno about it being a fifty-buck item, but if the console, sticks and everything else are clean and they work, that ain't too bad IMHO.

Qix - you lucked out there for one in the box, methinks.

Your Qix score is a MAJOR find! Major. I'd bet most people would pay triple that for just the loose cart. Congrats!!

Yeah, pretty good find on the Qix. I've only seen one copy in the wild (at Funco for $15) and I snagged it. So I'd say you did pretty good.

Qix is a great score. The Atari is a little on the high side, but not too bad.

I thought the Qix was a decent find.....I thought the Atari was actually pretty cheap, all the Atari 2600 packages I've been watching have been going for insane amounts lately, anywhere between $100-$175 for beat up 4 switchers and junk games.....I noticed this was Sunnyvale Heavy sixer with a really low serial number, I think the lowest serial I saw on the Atari Age website was in the 50,000s...this was 24 thousand something......I just thought it was neat to have one of the VERY first 2600s off the lines.....quick question, since these were made in the US, what's the last console that has been made in the US? Or all they all made overseas since then in Taiwan or Japan? That would be neat if these were the last major consoles made in the USA.......

Y'know, that's a dang good question. AFAIK, the heavy 6 would be the last. I could be way wrong on that b/c I don't know where the Astrocade or Channel F was made. I'm guessing that's it though.
