Damn, you had me all excited that he had FINALLY, after all these YEARS, agreed to do a interview with someone. :P

I wish that he did do one -- it would be interesting to see the bastard try to explain some of the decisions he did. Maybe he knows he can't and that's why he's staying quiet. ;)

I must be mistaken; all this time I thought Jack Tramiel was dead! I figured that was why his sons took over.

Last I heard Jack is in retirement and living in his mansion somewhere in California. I know that Stephen Kent tried to interview him for his history of video games book a few years ago and he was one of the only people who refused to be interviewed. (the other was the former Nintendo President, the guy who steped down a few years ago. No big shock there either. )

The website is down right now, but should be back up by Monday. If you haven't checked out the mock interview, you should:

Guess it's down for some, but not others. I blame my webhost, even though I usually blame Microsoft. Or maybe I'll just blame the global DNS system. :2gunfire:

No fair! You got my hopes up. I'd like to hear some of his stories, and I'm sure he'd be good for a few. The man did survive the Holocaust, after all.

This is the reason why Atari died, you see, all Jack cared about wasn't gaming, but money and politics ONLY! Remember the Jag and see all the non-gaming junk accessories and lame commercials they made, you wonder if all that money, time, and resources could've being used on game developments, the system would've lasted a lot longer, considering it was the time before Sony launched PSX, Atari had their chances.
