Ridiculous! The frickin' PSP isn't even out on the market and the bidding starts at one fuggin' cent! You want to know the wackiest part? I came across this quote/unquote "item" while searching for Sega CD units! Ay yi yi... I sense a banning. It doesn't help that the seller's feedback is an incredible zero... :shameful:

I don't think its an auction:

3 EASY STEPS GET YOU A FREE SONY PSP, NO STRINGS ATTACHED!!!

and just the fact that it isn't on the market doesn't mean that people can't get them. That "TonK" guy here on DP was just ebaying a few sealed PSP's.

Of coarse though, the auction you are talking about is some sort of scam, nobody is going to fall for it

You can bid, and if he doesnt give you a PSP for $0.01 (if that is the winning bid) you can give him a negative feedback. If he gives you a revenge feedback just e-mail Ebay and explain.

Actually, these are legit. I'm getting a little tired of everytime someone online mentions "free X" online everyone screams "OMG ITS T3H SCAMMERZ"

PM Norkusa - he just got his FREE iPod the other week. While your at it, nesgamer got his as well and posted proof of it here on the boards.

The thing about the www.free_____.com sites is that Gratis (the company that does this) gets paid for every referral you do. They actually get paid approximately 50.00 per refferal, so you do a refferal and get 5 people to do a referral they make 300.00...enough to cover your free ipod or other electronic device. They bank like crazy on people who fill out one, and only get 1 or 2 people to do one, then quit.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, who would like to fill out a refferal for me so I can get a free ipod and you can be on your way to a free ipod as well? I only need 4 more! :D PM me if interested, and like I said, PM those users above for proof.

Free Ipods are sorta like pyrimid scams, if you get in early you get the goods, but if you get in late good luck.

Hmm

I work with a guy that got his iPod delivered 3 weeks ago and last week his Nintendo DS showed up.
I'm sure there is some kind of MLM thing going on here but some people that want to take the time to harass their friends are getting these things.

Signing up for a credit card is one of the ways you can fufill the required setup. So if you get five of your friends or realitives to sign up for a credit card and use it once then you can get your free iPod. I think it is alot more work than it is worth, but people actually do get there products. However by putting your email on the forms you are probably also opening yourself up to a whole bunch of email spam. Just think of all the addresses they get from signing people up. They probably sell the list to hundreds of other email spammers. LOL

I guess you can always make an address you'll never use...

Yeah but if you are seriously trying to get your own iPod or whatever then you would want a valid email address so you get credit for all the people you sign up. So that might not be the best idea unless you are just trying to help someone out and don't care about getting your own.
