When i put in a game that i had rented from hollywood video the XBOX now says that the disc is not readable and to make sure there are no scratches on it. i've tried all my XBOX games including my like new halo 2 disc and i get the same error on EVERYTHING!!!! What is a gamer to do without halo!!! Any ideas how to fix this.

New DVDrom drive install.

sounds like you need a new disk drive laser. don't worry, mine has the same problem but i'm too lazy to buy a new laser.
