Ok, so I tested the collection list feature ^^

I noticed several PAL lists (NES, GBA, Xbox, PS2) aren't there, I guess this will take a while to do them. Although I'm volunteering on the CD32 PAL list :)

Here are some games I couldn't find in the database which should be there because PAL lists exist for them. It might be that I entered the wrong search term (the DP search engine isn't very forgiving unfortunately for things like wrong word order etc), please excuse my mistake then :)

Sega-CD

Silpheed (EUR)
Sol-Feace (EUR)

NES

Super Mario Bros. / Tetris / Nintendo World Cup (EUR) [included in Super Set]

N64

WCW vs. nWo World Tour (EUR)
Pokemon Stadium (EUR)

Playstation

Vib Ribbon (EUR)

Vectrex

Starhawk (EUR)
Blitz! (EUR)
Carrying Case (EUR) [with MB logo]

PAL GB/GBC/GBA will be up in a week or so. It won't be complete but it will be a start. Once it's up I'll start a thread in here to add missing titles.

Ok, coolness :)

I just noticed I forgot one game:

Interton VC4000

Bat and Ball [Interton version, I assume that's the English translation, original name is Ballspiele (=Ballgames)]

Since the topic is various systems missing games... I figure I might as well just use this one too.

Here's what I've noticed missing so far:

Gamecube:

Donkey Konga
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Resident Evil 4

Gameboy:

Hiryu No Ken Gaiden and Hiryu No Ken Gaiden 2.

Gamecube has it's own topic and those games are being added now and should be online by the end of the week.

As for the GB games, are they B&W or color? AKA's for US releases? And if you have the publisher and part # (DMG-??? or CGB-???) I could use that info as well.

Silpheed has slipped into PAL list as Slipheed. Must be the most misspelled game name ever.

Vib Ribbon is actually Vib-Ribbon.

Ah, ok, thanks. It would be really nice if the search engine would either be less strict about the input query or if alternate spelling names were added to some of the games :/

just search for "heed" and "vib" or "ribbon" , should work... i never search for the whole name, you never know, often enough what you thought is the right name ain't

Silpheed has slipped into PAL list as Slipheed.

Wow, I've been calling it SLIPheed since 1993! Just realised I've been wrong all this time. D'oh! It'll be corrected in the next update.

That's hardly conclusive proof - it could be a copy of Sol/Cobra where the Cobra Command disc has been lost.

If anyone has the stand-alone one, what does the back cover look like?

My copy doesn't have the original case, so I don't know, but it's on ebay all the time without Cobra Command ...

anagrama

Well if it appears all the time, there should be someone able to say what the back cover looks like. Until then I'm dubious.

Also note:

Cost more than anything else seems to have been the limiting factor for the rest of Europe. Mega CD sold rather slowly, and this was not helped by the fact that some countries did not get the system until the second incarnation of the console. This was the case in Germany, birthplace of the legendary Amiga personal computer, where the Mega CD 2 first saw the light of day in September 1993 for an initial retail price of DM530 - and that without a pack-in game to boot. At least by this time there was a decent library of software available for launch, and the German Mega CD launch lineup had everything except a sports game or a fantasy RPG.

Source: http://www.eidolons-inn.net/segabase/SegaBase-SegaCD.html

Sol-Feace/Cobra Command were pack-ins in the UK I guess?

Sol-Feace and Cobra Command are listed as launch games for Germany, but they were not pack-in games.

anagrama

That may be the case, but until I get proof of the stand-alone games, nothing is changing.

If they were sold seperately (or if the 2-in-1 was sold on shelves in Germany) there will be a barcade on the box somewhwere (there isn't on the "UK" version).

Pokemon Sapphire (GBA) is spelled wrong :)

That's an odd one. I looked at the data file and it was spelt correctly then I checked online and saw the missing 'p'. Very strange, but hopefully the next update will fix it.

Whoops... sorry. I missed that thread entirely.

As for the Gameboy games, black and whites. Not U.S. released. Published by Culture Brain. I only own the second, but its part number is: DMG-AHGJ-JPN

I found a listing error that seems to apply for every time a game of one series appears though...

The Fire ProWrestling series is listed as Fire Pro Wrestling. ProWrestling is one word in the titles of these games. This however does not apply to the two U.S. released Gameboy titles.

We're not going to have all of the hacks but others you're listing here are most certainly in the database. I'd recommend NOT searching by section (for example, just select Atari 2600 and the word "Pick" or "Marble" and you'll find your missing games). I'm guessing you're excluding the homebrew section in your search for some and in others like Millipede, excluding the prototype section.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure that I searched before I posted that, but in retrospect, I think I left a title in the "specific" search, so that nothing popped up. I keep doing that by accident :embarrassed:

Euro (aka PAL) GB & GBC have been up for a few months now. Originally it looked like only 100 or so titles for each would be in the first update but GB is at 415 and GBC is at 394, so a thread of known titles seems pointless. However, any titles not listed should definitely be pointed out. A good number of games are lacking part numbers, correct publishers and regional variants, so any of this info would be helpful as well.

I have a lot of info to pour over for GBA before I start adding them. It's taking longer then the others inpart due to the number of bootlegs being sold in addition to the library being double the GB.
