PAL Sega Mega CD Games

Anyone here buy/ play/ collect these? If so does anyone have any rare titles?

I have a couple:

But still a few to try and sniff out like:

Anyway, you're not alone ... pr8cjb here also collects PAL Mega CD. I think he must be pretty close to complete now - and a fair way on with a complete sealed collection :eek 2:

I think he's still missing Adventures of Batman and Robin at least, if not a couple more.

I'm sure he'll pop up sooner or later on this thread ... i think Gunstarhero is not averse to picking up Mega CD games where he can, and maybe chaoticjelly too, although I think he mainly sticks to Megadrive & Master System.

I did have a pretty substantial stash, but have offlloaded it all now ... I'm sure that more than one went to you!

How far off are complete set are you? You must be pretty close from what I've seen ... got Smurfs yet?

And are you counting the Good Deal Games PAL releases in your collection goal or not?

i'm not really actively collecting them yet, got 25 right now with the rarest probably being both Sherlock Holmes games, about 7 of those are still sealed...

my rarest one is Starblade, R7, rofl, one of my rarest games and i didn't even know it :D

the only other one higher than R4 is Chuck Rock which is an R5

mm - farenheit comes up on ebay now and again. Some guy had a huge load of sealed Ecco: Tides of Time on ebay not too long ago, I guess you must have just missed those ...

Fatal Fury Special & Samurai Shodown ... good luck!!! I've seen Sam Sho go for over £100 before. Still, at least you have Adventures of Batman and Robin ... that one is obscenely hard to come by. Where did you manage to pick it up?

I must admit, I never really took much notice of the box styles ... I guess Robo Aleste isn't on your list because it wasn't the later style then?

Looks like Adventures of Batman and Robin and Marko's Magic Football i think thats right are the rarest i have from the rarity lists.

hah, as usual Spain, Italy and Scandinavia are the best sources for rare PAL games... tradera.com is the only place i have seen a complete copy of Carmen Sandiego for SNES for sale ever :eek 2:

I buy 'em when I find them in the wild and have got about 30, but I've not really been actively hunting them down so far. Too busy with the Master System & Mega Drive at the moment :)
I think Slam City is probably my rarest (R6).

Still the same two short - Markos and Adv Batman. If anyone wants to sell their copy for obscene amounts of cash then let me know.

Also needing the two GDG releases (like that'll ever happen), the blue stripe variation of Power Factory, french versions of Night Trap & Fahrenheit, and the Slam City 32X demo. Still some way to go then!

Long way off a complete sealed collection - only got 26 of 'em - I do have 3 of the 4 32X titles sealed though.

I have about 19 PAL Mega-CD games, and two of those are still sealed (Rebel Assault and Power Monger). I don't really play that much on the Mega-CD system, but it will probably be my next system to get all games for (after I'm done with Saturn PAL).

Chris told me that someone had got a PAL Batman and Robin from Spain, so I came to check it out.
Didn't realise it was Gary, whom I know from another forum somewhere, he hadn't got round to telling me.


As for a complete collection. Sort of. I don't have the french language NIght Trap or all the cover variations, so not strictly true.

at the time of posting i DID NOT have a copy of Batman and Robin in my hands but DO NOW. SOOOOOO HAPPY. Now if only i could get those SNK titles and Theme Park!!!! I have the other four DOMARK titles.
