This thread is for different things you found out about a game while playing a game. Something that is unique and needs to be mentioned. I'll go first. You know how alot of people play sports games in season mode and if they are losing stop the game or reset it to save there perfect record. Well if I recall Nhl powerplay 96 for the Saturn gave me a forfiet or loss When I did that i can't remember which one it was but I remember laughing my ass off because I though I got over. Also their is a version of nfl gameday pre 99 that if you had created a player with a common first name in their database and put him in the lineup the announcer would call your name when you made plays. To my knowledge these were the 2 sports games that i played that have ever done that. If you know of any others Please let me know:) Just thought it would be interesting.

Ken Griffey Jr's Slugfest for the N64 does this with first and last names. Of course, with my German-heritaged surname, there's a snowball's chance in hell that that would ever get announced.

Same here. There's no one in baseball history (or sports history, as far as I know) named Schoolcraft...

That reminds me of Gameboy Golf. I cheated like hell on that thing. If I didn't like where my shot was going, I just hit A B Select Start simultaneously. As long as I did it before the ball hit the ground, I'd start right at the previous shot. From looking at the high score board, you'd think I'm really good at it. But I actually suck. :(
