There are some places we can do without, and some video game worlds fall into this category. What world would you fear being sent into, or being trapped in??

I would go with Silent Hill. No way I would go there. All you have is a crowbar and a radio that emits white noise, not a good scenario to be placed in. Oh yeah, the monsters don't help either.

Just give up. I once posed a very creative question asking retrogamers which videogame world they'd like to experience firsthand, and it generated zero replies.

I wouldn't want to be a bystander in Katamari Damacy, for fear that I'll be rolled up and then be sent to a firey death in the middle of a star.

Resident Evil.

Being eaten by a mutant frog is the worst way to go. Its just so embarrassing .

Doom....I'd rather not be flayed and nailed to some insignifigant wall as a decoration.

Air Zonk would be kick ass though....flying through the air blowing shit up with a cow wearing shades. Hell yeah.

I'd stay the hell away from Suikoden 4's world, at least until they got some other method of transportation besides boats slower than a snail covered in molasses walking backwards. LOL

Well first of all, I second all of the above responses. I will add Golden Axe. That just seems rough, what with the skeletons and the lesbians riding giant lizards. Count me out.

i would have to say super mario bros 2. Man, only onions and garlic. I mean, there is the ocasional cherry and the pumpkins/carrots from world 6, but i'd have to travel to far to have a god damn carrot.

The Sims. Talk about your "big brother" society. You can't pick your job, your girlfriends, you can't decide what to buy or what to eat. You can't even decide when to go to the bathroom! You have to wait until someone orders you to go.

Pretty terrible place to be, if you ask me.

Carmageddon.

Odds are extraordinarily high that I'd end up a pedestrian, and my entire existence would involve wandering around aimlessly until I become a "splatter bonus".

No thank you.

So either link to your thread, or at least contribute to these two that are going on now.

keep me away from where ever postal 2 is based(dont remember)

i'd much rather not just be walking down the street, and have a molotov cocktail thrown at me, or see cats being used as gun silencers(ROFL)

I thought of Silent Hill as soon as I saw this thread. Not only is the world itself horrible, but even if you get through it, you'll probably end in disaster because you picked up a piece of trash that just happened to be an evil filled totem that sends its possesor on an irreversible plunge to hell.

Silent Hill is pretty bad, but is any survival horror world better?? RE would be terrible, The Suffering, would just be bloody disgusting, but i think the world i'd hate to be in the most is the world of D2.

Just stuck walking around in the freezing cold of northern Canada, being chased by inhuman monsters, that orally violate you and convert you to one of them. Not a petty world. At least in Silent Hill you're warm.

At least in Silent Hill you're warm.

LOL! Sure...because people coated in their own blood are always warm until they die. Unless you mean warm from constantly running away. Actually Silent HIll is probably pretty cold cause of all the mist around it. Personally I think it'd be neat to visit places like Silent Hill and the RE worlds. Think about it....all you need to heal from a severe mortal injury is a small green herb or a cheap health drink and they're conveniently lying around everywhere. You can take bullets and keep walking. You can run for MILES without having to stop to take a breath. You can kill whoever you want and no one cares. However, you'd want other people to go there too...so you can watch them die to learn how to beat the bosses....

May as well mention the world of The Thing then as well. Not only are you in bloody Antarctica, but on top of that you're being hunted down by aliens, and contact with a SINGLE CELL from any alien kills you and turns you into one of them. You have to avoid even being TOUCHED! Not to mention you get so scared you wet yourself on a regular basis...and how fun would that be when you walked outside? Ugh. That's one I'll pass on for sure.

Silent Hill or Resident Evil...chances of your butt surviving is like 1 to a million odds..."Oh no Enrico is dead! Oh no Kenneith was killed too!" or "oh no I killed Eddie!"

SUPER JAMES POND.

the freakin walls are made with retarded teddy bears and hippopotami. chances are if you went there, you'd either be killed by the varios random objects that they put eyes on and made into "enemies", or you'd go insane and kill yourself. not pretty.

The world of Quarantine and Road Warrior (the sequel) are pretty terrible. It's the first thing that came to mind. (Anyone played these?)

I always got freaked out about being sent to a Mortal Kombat world. I guess this really got into my head after watching the movies!
