I'm not talking about the worst game because you might actually play that again. Most of us have huge collections of games and many of them may never be played again. I would think that the medocure ones will probably fall into the abyss. I thought about this after looking at my self of games and eyeing Madden 97' for the Sega Saturn. I can't imagine why I would ever play that game again. I'm acutally temted now that I've made this post but I will also resist because of this post. So is their a game in your collection that you may never play again. If so are you going to play it now that you have posted that you won't.

Tactics Ogre. I absolutely loved the game, but it took me quite a long time to beat with many tough battles so I thinkl I'm going to let it stay in memory.

Basically any newer-gen game I've already beat. Resident Evil Series, Silent Hills, Pokemon GB games..

that's a good call. I really can't see myself playing those games again either and most of them were good.

also Cmosfm I will help you get an ipod or whatever you need as long as I can get one of those turtle pies. :-P

The first thing that popped in my head when I read the title of this thread is "Most of them". I'm a collector more than a gamer, and as such I don't really soend an obscene amount of time playing my games. I just have tons of games that I intend on playing someday. I have a bunch of games that I have never even played.

Probably a good 99% of the sports games I own I will never play again, and that's assuming I've played them once.

That's easy: Drakhen for the SNES. Dear god... Imagine playing that game all the way through to the end? I'd love to hear from somebody who did that... if they're not already committed.

Rampage on the NES, because any time I feel like some rampage I can play the superior SMS or Nintendo 64 versions I have.

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. God that was an awful game. I'm considering getting rid of it right now actually. I have a lot of games that I haven't played yet, and whenever I play a game I don't like and decide I'll never play it again, I sell it. So I rarely have much that I'd NEVER play again in my collection.

Final Fantasy X. I loved it, but I didn't love it tobe willing to spend another 50+ hours on it.

Any game that emphasizes story more than play. All video game stories have sucked. All of them. Even that one that you say moved you to tears and has forever emblazoned the faces of its characters upon your imagination - that also sucked. I'm thinking mostly of linear rpgs mostly, but any genre applies. The play should not be just filler to further the plot. Just like there's no reason to watch a bad movie twice, there's no reason to play these games twice.

Way too many of them...I really need to figure out which ones, and get rid of them. I'm definitely more a gamer than a collector, so I hate having unplayed games laying around.

One game that immediately comes to mind is the .hack series. Awesome games, but I can't really ever see myself playing through all four again.

I second that exact same response, except replace 50+ with 130+. :/

The games I will never play again are going to be the games I totally hate. Two games come to mind for the Genesis.

-Genghis Khan 2: I just got it yesterday, but this is one of those Koei games I can't get into. If it was faster paced like Gemfire and had combat more like it then I would like it.

-Shadowrun: I don't see how some people can praise this game. It's got a top down roaming style which I dig, but the combat is awful. Also, and this is the big turn off, its a text based adventure when you go into shops! Ugh, text based games are probably my most hated genre.

I've got about 140 games now, I can see myself playing each one about once a year for about half an hour. But as far as not getting back into the game, I'd guess about 110 of them I'll never really play again.

NBA Live '99 for the N64... Never really been a big fan of sports games.

NFL quarterback club '99 for N64
that game had more glitches than.... uhh.. something with a lot of glitches.
there was one where the ball would be "stuck" to the ground, and the players would run at it and grab at it but it would be stuck there so they would end up reaching down and running right past it, then circle around and try again. this would go on until you turned off the game. it totally ruined the game.

Baseball on NES, Great Baseball on SMS, Homerun on VCS, etc. All of the pre-NES Baseball games I've played have sucked soooo badly. Can anyone tell me if there is one playable pre-crash Baseball game in existence?
