http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=936

here's what my box states:

Jaleco Rally Big Run: The Supreme 4WD Challenge

Saturn US

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=12611

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=31018

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=31253

or are there two, one with CG stuff and one without? if so the name should reflect that

----

i'm pretty sure it's "Thunderhawk 2: Firestorm" not "Firestorm: Thunderhawk 2"

---

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=31337

^^ should be "Dark Savior", just a typo

these are missing

shouldn't the Comix Zone Edition incl. the Soundtrack listed seperately, in fact it's nothing else than a Shenmue Limited Edition or whatever, and all those are listes seperately

Master System PAL

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=17760

^^ should be "Sonic the Hedgehog: Chaos" according to box

^^ should be "Land of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse" according to box

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=18283

NBA Showdown 94 is exactly the same game as NBA Showdown, it's just an alternate name for Australia.

As for Comix Zone I don't know if anagrama would agree but it is the same games with the Music CD as without, you could probably have a copy without a soundtrack CD and put one in it and nobody would know the difference.

yeah but Shenmue Limited Editon, Sonic Adventure LE and all those are listed twice too without any differences in the game itself...

I know but personally I would have the game listed once, then state in the description field whether there is an L.E. available and what extras it contains (e.g. soundtrack CD, stickers etc.).

Mega CD PAL

these are missing

Sega Classics Arcade Collection Limited Edition

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=30209

Every copy of the Sega Classics disc is allegedly a "limited edition". There's no non-"Limited" one.

Sol-Feace / Wolfchild
(btw, it's afaik Sol-Feace, not Sol Feace)

Huh? Never heard of that (and it's not listed on Chris Burgin's site).
Are you sure someone hasn't just replaced Cobra Command with half the Wolfchild box?

and there's a double entry

http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=28446

Nope, one is the standard game, the other is the CD/32X game

Mega Drive PAL

where's NBA Showdown 94 ??

Here: http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=30057

It was just called NBA Showdown in Europe, the '94 was only added in the US & Australia.

shouldn't the Comix Zone Edition incl. the Soundtrack listed seperately, in fact it's nothing else than a Shenmue Limited Edition or whatever, and all those are listes seperately

eh, possibly. Though, as long as this kinda thing is in the description I'm not too keen on listing them seperately. Same story with the "Collectors Edition" Eternal Champions, which just has a different manual.

Master System PAL

The Euro SMS list is going to be properly overhauled once files are all sent back.

really? i thought i had seen a non-limited edition, guess i was wrong

well, how can i tell??? it's still Sol-Feace though ;)

32X CD games are handled in the 32X section by me, sorry, have been there all the time

ok, you should add an aka title though

yeah but i ask again, what is difference between these and e.g. Shenmue Limited Editions (and all those japanese LE of dreamcast games) no one would consider an US DC collection complete without Sonic Adventure Limited

The Euro SMS list is going to be properly overhauled once files are all sent back.

great, that's what i thought ;)

If it was released like that it should have a unique part number and barcode.

They've also been in the Mega CD section all along.
There's an equally strong case for them to be in either, I suggest checking with Joe for the final word.

It already is.

The Japanese LE DC games have different part numbers and barcodes. The US Sonic Adventure LE is slightly different to the retail version.
None of this applies to these MD games.

Unless Joe says otherwise, I don't want them listed seperately since there is then an equally strong arguement for every minor variation to deserve it's own listing.

That site's wrong. The 4-in-1 wasn't released in Europe.

eeeh no!? look at Sol-Feace/Cobra Command, that one also doesn't have an OWN number, it has 4130 for Sol-Feace on it and 4402 for Cobra Command on the other half, i can't find an unique number for the overall release, so i also can't find one on Sol-Feace/Wolfchild

yeah, doesn't matter to me, maybe an own category for them would help ;)

It already is.

sorry, missed that

mh probably a poll in the main forum on this general issue would be a good idea, i don't feel anyone of us is able to decide this on his own, i also need this result for snes, for games like Donkey Kong Country Limited Edition (incl. Soundtrack)

If it was sold like that it will have a barcode somewhere on the box - the standard Sol/Cobra doesn't because it was a pack-in.

urgh, you're right, unless it's an unknown pack-in someone put it together, there's no EAN :(

As you mentioned hyd0x the Donkey Kong Country: LE only has a soundtrack cd with it so nothing else is special about it, therefore it should be just mentioned in the description field of the Donkey Kong Country game that their is also a LE soundtrack version.
Same goes for the SNES games that come packaged with guide books like Yoshi's Island, it's simply the same just with a guide book packaged with it.
So that should also be the same in my opinion. :)

They have different boxes one is a standard 2 CD tall box the other is a 2 CD jewel case in a larger outer box. I only have the Jewelcase/Outer box version so I need a Tall Box version to get the differances for the desc I listed them seperatly due to they might have different codes and that one maybe rarer that the other.

ah ok, maybe you could change the name of one to reflect that, having entries in the list that you can't tell the difference of ain't good ;)

@jbholio

i was just wondering that there were so many and thought maybe something went wrong with the pal import ;)
