I was recently browsing Ebay for Megaman games for Gameboy.
But I only found a few. I know there was like 5 Megaman games for gameboy, but why are these so hard to find?

Megaman games are always in high demand, especialy portable ones. People just don't want to part with them I guess, also alot of people sell gameboy games in lots, so try searching for auctions in title and description and you might have better luck.

Well during my time, Mega Man 3 and 4 have been harder to find out of any other
Why are they hard to find? This is my guess, they were probably made in limited quanities....Mega Man 5 is still sought after since it was the first and last to support Super GameBoy features...and of course the last to be released
I hope to god that the MM Anniversary Collection for GBA is released SOMEDAY, it's been pushed back so far that it's worse than when Arc the Lad Colllection was released :/

Mega Man: Dr. Wileys Revenge and Mega Man II shouldn't be too hard to come by. They were both re-released as greatest hits or w/e the re-release GB games were called that had the gold Gameboy logo on the side of the box. III, IV, and V are a bit tricky, especially the latter two. I have the first four but neglected to buy the 5th when it was released. Sucks too because I hear it was the best one. I am also praying for the GBA Mega Man Anniversary Collection to be released SOMEDAY!

I've got Megaman 5... actually, it's the ONLY Megaman game I owned until the Cube Megaman collection came out! Sadly, I lost the box a few years ago, but I still have the cart and manual.
Most have told me that MM5 sucks, but, eh, I had fun with it.
I also don't understand why the hell the GBA version of Megaman Anniversary Collection is taking so freakin' long. It can't be THAT complicated to port a few old Gameboy games to the GBA. Might as well just call it "Megaman Collection" since the blue bomber's 15th anniversary has LONG since past.
Side note for Cauterize... I tried to check out your site, but when I click on your lists, I get an error message. Just FYI...

I guess it will be fully remake with colors and "better" music + the original games. This will take some time. Like Rockman 1-6 for PSX who had a version with the original music and one with new music. Not sure if its like this with the Megaman Anniversary for GBA, but just a guess.

I actually didn't care much for MM5 (GB)...
I have an extra cart of this laying around somewhere.

Megaman Dr Wily's Revenge
That's essentially Mega Man 1 for the GB. It's also the most common of the five.
Mega Man 3 was probably the best of the lot. The 5th one was different, and it is really hard to find. I still remember when it first came out, though I was young, poor and stupid...I didn't buy it.
Mega Man V (the GB games have roman numerals, in Japan the series is called Rockman World) is one of my all time favourite Maga Man games.
The big difference is that unlike the other GB games it has all original stage bosses, the Stardroids, based on the planets in the solar system (so for example Mars' stage has lots of guns, mines, etc since the planet Mars was named after the roman god of war).
