Complete perfect mint copy of Final Fantasy - $30.

I don't believe I've ever paid higher than $50 for an NES game, and that was back when they were still being made.

Probably between $40-$50, back when they were still making them. I don't think I've paid more than $10 since I started collecting. That will change soon, though, if I keep it up. O_O

$75 is the most I have spent on a game for NES on the aftermarket. I think Dragon Warrior 1 & FF 1 where both about 79 or 89 dollar titles when the first came out an dI got them both first day 8-)

150$US for a minty nice copy of an NTFS2 cart from Jason Wilson.
~60$US for a complete copy of stackem
~50$US for a complete Tengen Tetris
and the price falls.
As far as accessories, ~110$US for a complete, brand new, still sealed top loader. This thing still has the registration card attached to the back of the box, and came with the original sales receipt (including the guys credit card number on it!) LOL
I lucked out with the top loader because he put it up as a 1 liner on eBay a couple years back with no picture. :D

Of recent, I remember Paying $10 for a
Complete Gold Legend of Zelda game. I should've actually
Bought the whole system she was offering. It would have been
30 or 35 bucks for this:
Nes system w/ 2 controllers, a/c, rf switch
Super Mario 3 (complete)
Super Mario 2 (loose)
Xevious (loose)
and another game. Plus the aformentioned Zelda.

The most I ever payed for a single game was $150 for a sealed Caltron. However one time I won an auction by a rental store in BC on eBay with 10 complete NES games for $180. That sounds like a lot, but three of the games were: Secret Scout, Menace Beach, and Flintstones 2, all complete!
My biggest ripoffs were paying $100 for a complete Tengen Tetris in summer of 2000 when I was still a collecting 'noob'. And the one that hurts the most: I missed an eBay auction with a BIN of $80 for a complete Myriad 6 in 1. I even got to the "confirm your purchase" page when someone else bid cancelling the BIN. I couldn't have missed it by more than 5 seconds, as I have a broadband connection. Dammmmn...

Most I've spent at one time was when I bought a lot of 60 NES games off ebay for $115. Next highest was a box of 40 NES games I found at a garage sale for $20 :D

Yeah, I was lucky that i had my girlfriends truck to use to pick all of them up! It was so perfect, he had a dually pickup, with a PADDED interior of his bed, with one of those back camper top shells over that. So I was also safe if it rained. Got all the machines home in perfect shape.
I had to drive 4 hours one way, 12 hours one way, and 6 hours one way to pick all 3 of them up. (Of course these were all different days when I did it)

I didn't do any NES shopping when it was new, so everything has been pretty cheap for me. My toploader was the single most expensive thing I've bought (at about $55 shipped), but excluding systems, the most I've paid was probably for Maniac Mansion for about $12 total off of eBay. The funny thing was that it was one of my very first eBay puchases way back when, and I'm guessing the seller wasn't very eBay-experienced either because I received the game before I even sent my payment. o_O

The most expensive games are the ones I bought new back when the NES was new. The original price was about 80 - 100 Fr. It's the same price that cost the new PS2 games nowadays...
Back then there weren't any store selling used games. At least not in my area. So it was very special when I got a new games since my mom or other people had to buy them for me.
I've also bought some used games over Ebay in the last years. I guess the most expensive ones were about 30 Fr. including P&P. But I don't have any real rare games so that explaines why I didn't have to pay that much.

I paid $54.99 for Tecmo Super Bowl when it first came out.
It was worth every damn penny, too. :rocker:
Beyond worth every penny. I have to have accumulated enough hours of play time on that game to amount for 3 months of life.
As for my biggest NES related purchases, I've cracked the $800 mark on 4 separate occassions. One for arcade machines. The other 3 were buying out people's entire collections.
Single game would have to be my Stadium Events that I bought just this Monday.

I usually end up finding sweet deals for most of the rare stuff, but here are my spending peaks:
Accessories: 250 US$ Disk System (back in '97 or '98; newbie mistake)
Consoles: 150 US$ Game Axe Color (in early 2000; on eBay, didn't know they were available elsewhere for cheaper :()
Games: 155 US$ for a 500-in-1 multicart (back in '97 or '98; newbie mistake ;))
I consider Famicom as part of the NES, which is why the items above are Famicom-related. In a way, they were all spending errors from my earlier collecting days. Nowadays I have a much better accuracy for value, and will only buy items if I can get a good deal on them, unless it's something I really want (joysticks/accessories for example).

I haven't paid more than about $50 for a single NES game; I spent about that much for a complete, minty copy of Fire 'N Ice. I've managed to get lucky on some of my more pricey games -- my Caltron 6-in-1 was only $20 (still my best find to date), and Little Samson was another in the wild find for me (and $3, at that). :)

These are all recent purchases. I do a lot of watching and everything but sometimes you have to find the auction that has good pictures and a good seller on ebay. Well it seems a few people must be keeping a low profile or arent members because ive seen a lot of games go on ebay for mega bucks. I admit I paid 500.00 dollars for my copy of stadium events..but ive seen many copies of it go for well over 500.00. ive also seen copies of caltron 6 in 1 go for close to 300.00, boxed flintstones go for close to 300.00 and the paninesians go for some pretty high prices not to mention the last few nintendo world championship carts....so im not the only insane person who paid a lot for a single game.

I guess the most I spent on any game was Mario Bros 3 for 5 dollars, which was way before I started collecting. I bought a NES system from my friend, which came with a few games, and I wanted Mario 3, so I bought it off ebay.
The most expensive accessory would have to be I guess 3 dollars for the Konami LaserScope, which I've never used, since I don't have the game to play it with.

Well, it'd be 40-50 for the games when I was younger and they were new. Most were birthday or Christmas presents, but ones I remember buying for myself with hard-earned (for a 12 year old) money were RBI Baseball 3, Tecmo NBA Basketball and of course, Tecmo Super Bowl. Woot.
Since then, though? I think I spent 10 on Arkanoid and Bubble Bobble when I bought those a few years back at Funcoland. Come to think of it, I bought a sealed Aladdin off Ebay back about 99 or 2000 for 40 bucks, so that'd be it.
