Ryo won't kill Lan Di. He'll find out the truth. Then he and Fuku-san will spend the rest of their lives training in the dojo. And Ryo will continue to totally avoid hot babes that are practically throwing themselves at him.
The reason that Lan Di killed Ryo's father is because Ryo's father murdered Lan Di's father. It was Lan Di that was getting revenge. I can't see Ryo doing the "eye for an eye" thing.

On a serious note, I heard a while back that the next game planned in the series was Shenmue online - an Asian only release.

on sega and nintendos system the revolution and it will be a exclusive along with brand new color dream games like bible adventures 2 thats when shenmue 3 is coming.
