So we all talk about Euro Exclusives like the shed load of Sport ones and other exclusives like Megagames.... but which Japanese Titles are exclusive ones?

The only one i can think of is Rastan Saga 2 (as its right next to me..)
Im also guessing Battle Golfer is too... but i dont own that

Anyone else know any others? as id love to own some of the Jap ones!

I'm betting there are DOZENS of Japanese-exclusive Megadrive titles, if not more.

Cheers

Several great Japan-only MD RPG's.

Bahamut Senki and Blue Almanac.

Monster World IV was the best MD game left in Japan. Aside from the others mentioned I like Battle Mania 2, Gley Lancer, Twinkle Tale and Devil Hunter Yoko.

And Rastan Saga II was released in North America.

True, though there's a hell of a lot more US and Europe exclusives than Japanese exclusives, what with the MD being a dismal failure in Japan.

A notable one is the Sega CD verision of Shadowrun -- developed by Compile of all people.

Looking at my shelf I see Puyo Puyo Tsuu and Dyna Brothers haven't been mentioned. As for games I don't own yet, Metal Fangs is reasonably high on my list, along with a few others like Rent-a-Hero, Surging Aura, Rainbow Islands, Devil Crash MD, Slap Fight MD...The MD is really one of the few systems where most of the worthwhile games got English releases.

There's shit-loads of JP-eclusive MD games, although a lot of them will require language knowledge.
I've tried to denote all of them in the DP database listings, but I could try to create a cut-down list aswell. I'll try and throw something together when I'm in front of my data (at work at the moment! ;) )

Makyoto Issen is the one by Treasure, Gaiden is the one by Sega themselves and is an RPG.

On that note, both games' subtitles are attached to the same game (http://www.digitpress.com/DP/cmf/game.cmf?gameid=30985) in the DB. >_>

Devil Crash MD is Dragon's Fury in the US. Very nice pinball game!
