What conventions are being held in Austin, TX this year?

I'm interested in finding out if any video game related conventions are going to be held in Austin, TX this year

I've never been to a convention in my life, so I'd like to see what it's really like and have a great time as well.

What are some of the things I should expect if going to one? like the pros and cons of it?
