Do you think if that if they ever remade Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Nintendo DS that it would involve touching ??? :D

A touch screen, and a microphone you can blow on. This system was /built/ for a Michael Jackson game.

Hey, the original game had Michael hiding kids in closets and car trunks, so, yeah, sure. Why not? It'd be like one of those Simpson's parody games (oh, no, he's a right-wing conservative judge!).

Did we play the same game? It involved Michael saving kids from Mr. Big's goons.
However, thanks to recent events in Jackson's life, one can't really look at the game the same away anymore.

Yeah, particularly since he grabs his crotch when he 'saves' the kids (in the Genesis version).

I remember describing this game to some customers when i worked at the game store. They usually have this "i cant believe this was made into a game" until you get to the part about searching for hiding kids....then they think you are making the whole thing up. LOL
He still had some cool music in the 80's though.

You know, I really need to get this game. I've never played it before, but what with all that's happened to his image now, surely this game is gonna end up being tremendously collectable someday. Kinda like anything to do with Hitler. Someday people are gonna be paying megabucks for this one.

I remember it at Disneyland. Disneyland always had the best arcades.

I saw Captain Eo before "Moonwalker" was released.
That and it wasn't until some years later i eventually got into video games.

Hey, I remember Captain Eo. He was still black then.
If you hacked out everything related to Michael Jackson, wouldn't Moonwalker be a pretty decent game?

Black, rich, and unstoppable. Today he is a (really) white, creepy alien.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You suck.

People are, as a rule, innocent until they are proven guilty. That said, I agree with your logic, and will buy the next full copy of Moonwalker I see.

Actually, I have the maturity of a 4-year-old, so I loved the video. I keep thinking about it over the past couple of days. My fiancee' keeps asking "what's so funny", and I have to reply "uh...nothing". So thanks, Cauterize!
BTW--all the other videos on that website are totally retarded.

Actually the arcade version kicks major ass, it's tons of fun, one of those games I can play through over and over and over and never tire of.
The genesis version bores me to tears within 10 minutes.

I think the arcade and Genesis versions are both pretty good. The Genesis version is just a standard platformer, sure, but the music is well done and it's cool how you can moonwalk and kill enemies with your dancing skills. The Amiga version, OTOH, sucks.

Virtualboy, on some kind of whim, decided to join the Digital Press Forums on February 21, 2005. His first post, somewhat indicative of his name, asked the forums where he might purchase "Virtual Boy games sealed or opened but with everything including the box and instructions," with a tone that seemed to indicate that we all had secret resources that weren't fellow collectors and eBay.
Despite helpful replies, Virtualboy abstained from giving thanks or replying in that thread.
Virtualboy's next post was, against all posting logic, another thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=53972). This time, poor Virtualboy was confused. He didn't understand how to post a graphic signature under each of his posts. "I see all of these pic sigs and i go to my profile and says html is off," he said, before expressing his desperation with three question marks. Despite ten very helpful replies, Virtualboy again refused to give any thanks or further replies.
The following night, armed with this knowledge, Virtual Boy started his third thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54062&highlight=). This time, Virtualboy requested a signature picture to use with the super secret signature code acquired the previous night. In less than an hour, a beautiful picture matching Virtualboy's explicit instructions was provided by a fellow poster named SuperNES. Again, Virtualboy gave no thanks, and no replies. Nor has he actually used his new signature.
Perhaps realizing that not all posts have to be a brand new thread, Virtualboy decided to make a standard reply in an already existing thread. It was an Off-Topic thread called "Smooth pick-up lines," and his reply (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=581694&highlight=#581694) consisted of the following:
"lol"
Exhausted from his efforts, a tired Virtualboy goes to bed, dreaming of the threads he can create the following day at Digital Press. But sleep does not come for poor Virtualboy. He tosses and turns, trying to think of another wonderful thread for those fine folks at Digital Press. When suddenly it hits him!
He rushes out of bed, almost tripping over his G.I. Joes as he tries to slide his feet into the bunny slippers Grandma made for him for Communion. He runs quietly, if such a run is possible, down the stairs, hoping not to wake his parents up, whose hard work every morning is the only way Virtualboy can ever purchase that illustrious toy of toys that he's been craving for years, that pinnacle of handheld gaming achievement, the Tiger Game.com.
Virtualboy's heart skipped a beat when, not realizing his speakers were turned up, the words "YOU GOT MAIL!" echoed through the house, in that same blasted voice he's been hearing every morning before logging on to his "TEEN LYF" AOL chat room. There was a moment of silence, save for his pounding heart, before realizing that his parents remained sleeping. Success!
The thread he made that fateful night was another classic. "Atari 2600 Jr. system question (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54093&highlight=)" contained all of the elements that had thus far comprised a Virtualboy thread: a question easily answered by Google, helpful replies by other forum members, and an absolute lack of any kind of thanks or recognition by Virtualboy.
Satisfied, Virtualboy crept back to bed, but not before contributing the following post to the "Kill the Dog from Duck Hunt" thread:
"lol"
Virtualboy has posted seventeen more times in the two days that have preceeded that night, including three replies in this very thread, stacked on top of each other like holocaust victims. Again, he posted brand new topics requesting information easily available on Google. Each time, as per Virtualboy's history, helpful replies fell flat to his absolute lack of thanks or even acknowledgement of having read them. A great majority of these posts came in the form of two threads made in the Buying & Selling forum. In one such thread, Virtualboy requested a Game.com with games, got an absolutely wonderful offer for a package deal that he'll never see again and, apparently thinking that "Buying and Selling" means "Request stuff you want for free," managed to completely ignore this deal and reply with a simple "bump."
From there, he shocked the world by posting yet another brand new thread, revealing that not only does Virtualboy not OWN a Virtual Boy...he also knows nothing about it! He attempted to resolve this horrible situation by posting yet another request in Buying and Selling. A few offers were made, but Virtualboy decided that after less than 24 hours, his thread was "old," and he no longer wanted the item. He edited out his request, replacing it with the following confusing statement:
"delete mod"
And so here, on the fourth day of his posting career, we here at Digital Press would like to formally recognize the contribution potential of Virtualboy, perhaps the finest example of a human being on these forums. Here's to four more days, superstar!
