hi, I have PSO and Quake3 Arena, if you're interested in playing either of those i can get on. also i'm waiting for my keyboard/mouse to come, so I will be a bit better at both those games if you have anything arranged later in the week. but i don't have a server, nor do i know how to go online. if you can help that would be great, Thanks and hope to see you online.

Thanks, i got my DC online, and to anyone who wants to play Quake 3 i'll be on tomorrow night, my ScreenName is BoogeyMan. if you want, anyone can AIM me at TheBoogieMan91 to work out a time.
Not to sound "out of it"....but I didn't know that you can still play DC games online.
I've spent about a gazillion years on PSO on DC and Cube. I picked up a used copy of DC PSO for playing offline (would have to see if I can take it online or not, due to the serial numbers) and could get a keyboard immediately, since they have tons of them at the local game shop.

I'm pretty sure you CAN play Q3 and PSO Dreamcast alongside PC gamer servers. A recent visit to PSO World confirmed this - though I did not personally try it.

Games I know of that are still online(from Onlineconsoles.com)
Quake 3: Arena, still has quite a few players playing at any time(and alot on the weekends/nights) DC and PC users.
PSO V1/V2, TONS of players at any given time, long list of servers, still very active, Mostly PC users now though... :(
StarLancer, Pretty much dead(nobody is usually on), but it still works just fine so you can play games(if you can find people to play with)
4x4 Evolution, Still a few people on at anytime, but starting to lose support(is sopposed to still stay online for play in the future though).
Ferrari F335 Challenge?, Not sure how this one works, but as far as I know it's still up.
Sega Swirl, Very slow, Very annoying, The game uses POP3Mail so you actually have to mail eachother your moves(a game could go all night!).
Thats all I know of currently, there coule be more out there though?
Note: If anyone else needs help getting thier DC online, please feel free to add me to thier AIM list, SubZero997. I should be on tonight.

Hey siince this is the offical DC online topic i was wondering how many of you fellow DC online gamers have the BBA. I know i hold on to mine for all it's worth. I had to buy a second dreamcast on ebay to get it. Came with a cool linux inside sticker on the front of it.

@max330mega: you can use whatever ISP you currently use to log on with your computer.
@njiska: i use the regular dial-up adapter, it's usually fast anough. also, if you plan on playing Q3 online, you should pick up keyboard and mouse. it's a lot easier to play and chat.

Got the keyboard and mouse already. My DC's been outfitted for onlineplay for a long time. All i need now is quake 3. I should be able to find it at the local microplay.
