For those who have waited this long to get an offical US copy of SF Anniversary Collection (Feb 23rd)....what do you have to say now that the wait is over?

Oh man, I've been waiting a loooong time for this one. I'm definitely picking up a copy on Wednesday. I reluctantly bought the offline PS2 version months ago just to hold me over until this one came out.
The thing is, I'm really not good at fighters anymore. I used to play SFII like crazy when it was new in the arcades but I haven't played much of them in a while. Mainly because all the arcades are gone now and it's no fun playing on a console by myself. Xbox Live is gonna change that though.
Now I just need to find a good stick.

I hope my xbox to ps2 controller adapter works well because the controller was butt in capcom vs snk.

Mmmm... SAT to XBOX convertor = joy with this title.
This is the only new release I've had any interest in. Can't WAIT.

I picked my copy up today. Cool stuff. I'l have a bit more to post once I can pull myself away. Now to just find a decent stick and those damn Street Fighter X-Box controllers.
Anyone know when those are out?
I can NOT WAIT untill I get live in under two months. Can't wait to go head to head with fellow dper's. Reminds me of the good ole arcade days. Sniff.

Update---- the online play is smooth I love it way better than capcom vs snk. But your right those damn xbox controllers. My thumb already has blisters. I am suprised that capcom took so long with online play. I haven't been online this much in a good bit. i just hope a million subscribers buy this game. The japanese players are off the hook. i'm trying to put them on the hook.

I want to pick this up, but I'm waiting till I have the money to get a good stick along with it. I'm not really that good at SF, but I like the game and really want to play it online.
Now all we need is for Midway to release an online capable MK Trilogy for the box :)

I just picked this up yesterday and am kind of bummed. The game itself is great but I don't have a stick to use with it. I thought my Hori Tekken stick would work perfectly with it using a controller adapter, but the controls are soooooo sluggish. Same story goes for my PS2 SF pad. Heard other people are experiencing the same thing when using controller adapters with this game. Guess i'll have to wait 'till the SF Xbox controllers come out play with a controller s in the meantime.
Does anyone know if those Mortal Kombat Xbox controllers are any good? The look just like the SF controller but with different art. I've seen them at Gamerush for $15 new. If they are the same thing, I'll just buy one of those instead.

Been playing this for months now, racked up nearly 3000 matches online in SF3 already. :eek 2:
nork, which adapter are you using?
I used the magicbox with the Tekken 5 stick yesterday, and there was no input lag.
My live name is buttasuperb, if anyone wants to battle. I'm usually on most weeknights.

Oh man, I have the same problem with my SFII controller while playing King Of Fighters 2002/2003. Half the time I'll do a half circle back and it'll do a dragon upercut move or when I get up off the ground it just doesn't pick up any commands I send through...UGH. I hate that damn controller.

Battling on Live is quite fun, but it makes me see how horrible I am at SF3. I've lost about 70% of my fights...

nork, which adapter are you using?
I'm using the Game Elements adapter I got from Gamestop. Haven't had any problems with it until now. I had a Magic Box but got rid of it 'cause 1st gen Saturn pads and my Agetec DC stick wouldn't work with it. Guess I should have held onto it. :(
Any good Xbox sticks out there? That Pelican Real Arcade looks good.

The Nuby SFFII Anniversary Stick is great, and it works with both Xbox and PS2 and has a headset slot for Live. It's only at EB Games though.

I'd love to get this one but I hear they are completely sold out everywhere and the ones being sold on Ebay are fetching way above retail. Are there any others?

Butta - good to know that the magic box works well, if only I could get the damn live adapter to fit inside it.
I'm Mana Approved on Live, if you're on catch me for a match!
