Thats from the limited edition Tales of Symphonia GC in Japan. It's been out for a while.

I thought the TOS one was called "Symphonic Green" or "Mint Green." TOS is much brighter than this, it looks like Copper Oxide... They both look ugly to me though.

I think it's quite nice - although I do prefer the TOS ones. I wish I could afford the TOS 'Cube... :(

Not really new. They've been at places like Lik-Sang and Play-Asia for a long time now. It's a Japanese exclusive color, kind of like how they have spice orange consoles.

i think theyd clash with my 'indigo' cube, but the 'copper oxide' one looks kinda cool...

Yeah...I was debating on ordering one when I placed an order at play-asia for the grey Xbox controller with the neon green emblem. I'd say that was atleast 2 or 3 months ago, but I know they have had them longer than that.

I just wish the WaveBirds came in different colors. I have two now and might be getting more, but it is hard to know which one is which when they are all gray. If they had come in four or more colors, then you would've known which controller was which at a glance. Currently, I have to pick up the two I have and look at the underside to figure that out. It might only take a second, but still...

I have a grey Wavebird, But don't they have a platinum colored one? I could have swore I have seen one in that color somewhere.

Yes, although grey and platnium are relatively close to each other in the way of colors. What I would like to do is push the GameCube back a little further and have the controllers sitting next to the couch. Even if I had two Platniums and two grey controllers, you would have to futz with the Cube to look to see the difference. If it was purple, black, orange and grey, you would have four distinct colors and could easily say, "Controller 2? Orange! There it is!"
As a note, I have a platnium Cube. From about 10 feet away, the Cube and the controller receivers look just about the same. Ah well.
