Okay, is this an acceptable thread?

Yes, I did a search on it already.

I am just curious to know if anyone has found issue #11 in the US. I am asking because my local B&N usually has it by now, and they don't, and if they are not going to carry it anymore I will have to subscribe.

I hate to keep asking but two threads have been locked because I "didn't do a search"

If anyone has an answer I would be most grateful.

Thank you.

I have a subscription and I did get my Issue #11.

Because I'm in Canada it actually goes through Quebec, and I received issue #11 before #10 because of some screwup (maybe similar to the reason you can't find #11). The upside is that I get my subscription extended an extra issue now :)

I'll answer you in this thread.

Yes, this is acceptable because you're asking about the availability of the newest issue of Retro Gamer. "Is this out yet/available?" threads are fine, as folks are always asking if game X is released or in stores, etc.

Your other two threads were:

"Who reads Retro Gamer?" Answer: Many of us do. If you wanted answers to a specific question, then ask your question. It's like asking "Who likes Zelda games?" when you want to know "When is the release date for GBA Minnish cap?"

Your next thread, "Why was this locked?" was locked because it should have been a PM to a Mod rather than a thread demanding answers. Got a problem? Drop one of us an e-mail and we'll be happy to explain what's happened. getting snarky will only get you snarky replies in return.

Now then, I hope this clears up your dilemma. To answer your question - no - my local B&N has not gotten Retro Gamer #11 yet, as I've been waiting for it myself.

Cheers.

Sorry, I'll try to be more specific in my subject lines. Thanks for the answer though.

Sorry, I'll try to be more specific in my subject lines. Thanks for the answer though. No problem. Generic subject headings are my bane of existence. You have no idea how many "Look at this!" and "Wow! See inside!" threads that get started around here.

Always feel free to drop the Mods a line. Every one of us is happy to help out the Merry Members!

I just picked up issue 10 two days ago...I'm behind the times :embarrassed: Although the Apple IIGS article was great!
