Dragons Fury OR Revenge = Devils Crash/Crush?

Ok, I'm confused here. Which is the Genesis/Mega Drive version of the classic PC-E/Turbo game Devils Crash/Crush? I've looked at both games on Ebay and they look the same? ARE they? Dragons Fury was released by Tengen I believe. It STILL was titled Devls Crash for the Mega Drive in Japan right? Anyone ever play it (American or Japanese versions)? How does it compare to the PC-E/Turbo version?

Dragon's Fury is the same game as Devil's Crash. The Japanese version is called Devil Crash MD. Dragon's Revenge is a sequel that was only on the Genesis, and not as good as the original, IMHO (I don't think it was developed by Tecnosoft, either, but I can't remember). edit - might be called Devil Crush MD, now that I think about it.

It's been quite a while since I've played the PCE/Turbo version, but I think it's a pretty accurate port. I'm sure there are some cosmetic differences and probably the audio has some differences as well, but the Genesis game certainly plays as well as I remember the Turbo version playing.

Dragon's Fury on Genesis is only very slightly different from Devil's Crush on the Turbo. Both games are nearly identical, so if you own one, there's little point in owning the other. The same can also be said for Jaki Crush on the SFC/SNES, although I've been told that Jaki Crush has more of a Japanese demonic theme than a traditional demonic theme, like Devil's Crush does. Dragon's Revenge is an original sequel to Dragon's Fury, and only on Genesis.

I don't consider Dragon's Revenge part of the same series since it was developed by Tengen. As for Devil's Crush, I have a slight preference for the look and sound of the Turbo one over the Genesis one.

Jaki Crush is a different game from Devil's Crush. It feels more like the original Alien Crush, i.e. a little boring. I was surprised by how little I liked it.

Dragon's Fury was the American name for the MD cart by Technosoft. Dragon's Revenge was something Tengen created themselves, and I guess it would be popular with greasy Comic Book Guy-types who want do hear woman moaning and faking orgasms while reading Tolkein.

I'm sure there are such women out there. Somewhere.

LOL YES! I forgot about how sexual Dragon's Revenge sounds! If my parents ever heard me playing that game, they'd surely be wondering what the hell kind of game I was playing! Heck, even my sister would come running to see what the hell I was doing, or at least question me about it afterwards! ROFL
