Howdy, new guy!

Right above your head is a link to Digital Press' online rarity guide! It has pretty much every game that ever saw the light of day, and quite a few that didn't.

I was the only one of my group of friends that liked that game.

First generation third party game, run, don't walk, away from this game. Very poor side scroller.

This was the first SNES title I bought soon after the system's release, and I can seriously tell you that wiser words have never been spoken (reguarding the quote above). This game is just boring, boring and slowwwwww. I mean your main method of attack is either shooting little balls you swallow (Yes, you swallow them), or waiting 28 minutes for an enemy to get close anuff so that you can stretch and kill him, hopefully not hurting yourself during the whole ordeal. It does have some redeeming factors though. Such as.. ummm.. A couple of neat mode 7 bosses (like a hugh jumping fish) and a naked guy who runs into walls in the antarctica level, but that about it. Fortunately, the game would never catch up to you if you did decide running away, due to it's slow as molasses pace.

Heh, Smart Ball is one of my all-time favorite SNES games. I assume it's an acquired taste though. It gets too much undeserved hate! It's a really great platformer with an amazing soundtrack. And Yes, It was a US release. Pick it up if you ever see it!
