My brother and I create a 30 minute video game TV show called GAMEBOT for our local public access station. We do not get paid and put in hours and hours per week, filming classic games, systems, peripherals, accessories, and covering game expos. Of course we cherish every second of it. We want as many people as possible to see the show to help keep the memory of these games vivid. To the point, if your station is looking for free programming, and you are willing to represent GAMEBOT in your area (since the programming for those stations usually require it to come from their community), please respond. I cannot pay the station or you to do this. The payoff would purely be that you and your friends can watch the show in your area. I will send a free DVD with three episodes to anyone who can get it on the air (nine episodes are complete at this time). It's gloriously low budget, and raw. You can see clips here:

oh well, thats it! thanks for reading!

This looks tremendously cool.

Have we met? If you cover game shows there's a very good chance we have. I don't know if I can get you on our local access channel but I'd be willing to give it a shot - can you give us some tips on how to go about doing that?

Well, I have no way of getting you on public access TV, but I will be purchasing one of your DVD's as soon as some of my eBay auctions end today. I think it's well worth 7.00.

:D

R U N, have you been to http://www.kedora.net/ ?

Kedora might be a good way for you guys to get more exposure. Kedora already has a couple video game shows but you might want to add your show the mix.

Yep! I think I actually got the last copy of the DVD from Blake - I'd been wondering if they had been able to take this any further (website wasn't up until recently?). I enjoyed most of what I saw, though I much prefered the episode with actual game reviews and discussion than the eps that covered the various events. Event coverage is neat, don't get me wrong. I may never make it to CGE, so seeing how it unfolds is very interesting. But, I feel like there's only so much you can do in covering events - whereas there are thousands and thousands of games, accessories, and systems that you can cover - which never gets old.

The DVD was nice though - well made, and I thought the show had a lot of potential.

Good luck with everything, and I'll gladly pick up any future DVD's!

Hey guys! I just ordered your DVD, thank you for documenting this stuff. I think I might be in it (at philly 04') with the Final Fantasy Orb (yes, I was a dork).

I'm going to have to give this a bump.

I finally got around to watching my DVD, and I must say, it is WELL worth the asking price. The production value is top notch and it's a great cross between being entertaining and informative. The packaging on the DVD is one of the best I've ever seen for a personal production.

If you haven't picked this up, stop being a cheapass! It's only 5 bucks! LOL

What's that you say? A DVD featuring videogame reviews and clips with the Bubble Man theme playing in the background for only 5 dollars?! Thanks for bumping this thread you guys. It just so happens I have a couple bucks lying around in my paypal account and this would be a great way to spend it.
